House of Hermskii {HOH}

Hi guys,

It's not news that lately we have been having some trouble inside MHM3. It's also not news that lately the forum and the servers have been quite inactive; the lack of players and the absence of the regulars is something that we see everyday. I include myself in here and we can say that Biomech has been the only active member in the last couple of months.

That does not bother me since I'm not very active and I'm sure it also does some of you. But for a member who is wanting to give the best of him in terms of admining, in terms of developing, and also, in terms of playing, is very frustrating.

Like you know, POTS has been on charge of the MHM3 server and my job was only to pay for it. You also know that POTS is a very concerned member, always taking care of the server, even getting stressed to make it perfect and giving so many contributions to the forum, like his FAQ thread which we all find extremely useful.

However, due to MHM3 inactivity, he's feeling frustrated. Almost no-one is playing on the server and he won't get any more feedback on the forum since players are also inactive here. He's also not feeling right because unfortunately, MHM was being involved with behaviour trouble and you know that MH is a small community, and that kind of stuff actually hurts him.

Is in this context that a new community has offered him the chance to work with them and it wouldn't be fair if we retain him here. He has so much to offer and I think he deserves to be on a more active community in which the work he does will be appreciated everyday. That's why he has accepted UM's proposition and from now on he'll be part of that community and he'll leave MHM.

Don't get me wrong, it's very sad for me since I consider him a friend; but as a friend, I have to look for his happiness, and if he has found new motivations and joyment on a different place, then I'm happy for him.

I've already told you many many times
but I also support your decision and think you'll do great at another community just like you have here.
I"m sure everyone else, even if not at first, will see
that it is whats best for you and its going to be what makes you happy.

I donno - I see MHMIII quite Active indeed!
Probably the most active server in our community.

Fuzzes Fun House is also pretty darn active too - maybe even a bit more!

I've noticed the MHM servers have been really empty lately, i for one just havnt been getting my UT cravings lately I do this every year tho, then come back in winter.

I havent played at UM before, what kind of MH setup do they have?

MHMIII Players Graph from GameTrackers... (EMPTY??? - Looks pretty consistently Populated to me)
AND, GameTrackers reporting is usually Lower than Actual player counts.
I have noticed that they seem to miss a good number of players that actually play on the servers.
They do not count server owners either.

Well by empty i meant no1 i want to play with lol, i havent seen any MHMer's or forum users online apart from about 2 or 3 times over the last month.

I have some kind of mental UT block, i can only play if there are people in the sever who i know. UT is strictly social for me now days.

You must be just missing the Tagged players ( {MHM} ) as when I looked, virtually every one of them (except {MHM}HellFire) has played about every other day since last week, and quite a bit on the past weekend and up to today a few.
Anyway - I get what you are saying here.
But, the server is still pretty darn busy and there are quite a few regulars too.
I would consider MHMIII a Great success - especially by today's UT99 server player standards.

PS: Just an FYI - I still keep an eye on MHMIII for Reiyel (and POTS).

As for the setup, they have strong monsters, Double Jump, in-game server stats, fast gamespeed, maps sorted by difficulty, you start with all weapons, you can use a custom enhanced sniper rifle, and more. There's also a TeamSpeak3 server where you can chat with the others or simply listen to them.

The sniper is actually a nice skilled weapon, I saw it on another server. Increased firing speed, but headshots do a thousand damage! I really liked it but increased gamespeed makes it very difficult to dodge, aim, react, or generally play

Maps sorted by difficulty sounds pretty neat though...I think I had idle thought about it myself. And what reiyel said, keep in touch. I'll still be here even if it's just me, rei and Hermskii...Oh and Hook of course.

Yes, Ive seen Unreal "Mayhem" and I have been watching it for quite a while now.
Got a few active members there - not bad - they have quite a bit of unfinished work to do there yet, but they are getting there.
They got some cool ideas and also a "Catchy Name" LOL!
As for me, I will stay Home with the Classic UT sites!

I had a go at the UM MH server i cant say its for me, like Rei said newbie
spawning with 900 health and having all weapons is just too easy, also it has triple jump.
