ShadowOfDeath... Any Server that has the MapVote " bEntryWindows=True" <-(set to True), the Window will pop up when you enter the server that will have you Set your "Hot Key" for MapVote. Yes, a lot of servers have this turned off (set to False) but Yes, {CG}, {CMM}, {CRW} and {MHM} all have theirs set to True so you can set your MapVote Hot Key at those servers. I also am pretty darn sure that{MHMIII} does also. Of course you can also set it manually to an un-used key in your User.ini file, - Or, like you said, in your UT Preferences.

He said that he changed it because he wanted to change the "Welcome Window" - update it a bit. I have been hosting the Welcome Window for him. Reiyel, did you ever change it?

I believe that Hermskii's servers {CG} and {MHM} are down now while Hermskii is moving. They will be back Up and Running Soon - after he moves.

The Welcome Window can't be edited easily, you need to host a HTML file somewhere on the Web, I doubt he ever made those changes. Anyway for what I've seen during the years, little or no players use the welcome window for the mapvote keybinding, and the regulars become sick of it after a while. Should I leave that disabled? It Only pops up when you FIRST join a server ONLY and then does not come back at all unless you select it from its Tab in the MapVote Window - and that can be Handy if you have some good info on it. If you already have a HotKey designated, the HotKey Window does not even pop up when you join a server - so no problem leaving it enabled. But - leave them disabled until Reiyel decides about what he wants I guess. Yep, Hermskii's servers are up again (at the moment) but I didn't see them before either at times over the past few days. I assumed that they were down for his move so I didn't even think anything of it. Oh well - play them now!

No changes here. They should be showing as up all of the time.

Very odd stuff going on here. I found out why CG wasn't showing up and it was a setting I have not changed in years nor have changed at all recently. Seems I've been joked on again. I'm trying to figure out how long the server was there and playable yet wasn't showing on the master server list. I have a certain prankster I need to call and find out if he did this to me or not. Spooooooooky.
What bugs me is if it wasn't him, who was it........See! See!
I show that {CG} is showing now. Do you folks see it?

Yeah, {CG} is there now! And, I gotta ask ...Every time I see someone post about something like "a certain setting" - I simply HAVE to ask what that setting was, because I always think that it is SOME Setting that I for some reason don't know about. So, just to ease my curiosity - What Setting was it? Was it a normal setting that we all know about or is it some obscure, secretive setting? I always have that weird feeling that I am missing something that I thought I have always known about! - Sheeesh! I am not sure that all came out as I intended, but do you get my drift?

Hook if you are ever curious what some obscure setting is in the ini file, look at my UT source and search through the glossary. You will be surprised at some of the things in there that are unused or unknown.

HOOK, here is the section. DoUplink= was set to False.
[IpServer.UdpServerUplink] DoUplink=True UpdateMinutes=1 MasterServerAddress= MasterServerPort=27900 Region=0
I still havent figured out who did this or when exactly.

OK - Thanks Herm - my mind is now at ease - a common known setting! LOL Gopo - yes, I gotta spend some time and look through that UT Source sometime! I still want to learn coding when I get time also - I used to program Small computers using Basic and hex base 16 and some machine language and I also used Cobal for flowcharting years ago so I just need to get familiar with it all again. I'll be working on learning Coding for UT at your UT Development forum when I find time. I currently have so many sticks in the fire I don't know where to begin. I must have about 6 to 10 maps (at least) still sitting unfinished let alone other projects!
