I try to help out those who can speak English, but if they don't listen to me I find it impossible to like them.

I believe that whoever visits a foreign country should learn the language of that country. That´s how I´ve been raised and that´s what I´ve always done. By doing that, you show respect to the country you´re visiting and it´s people. And, if you´re moving to that country to start a new living you MUST learn it´s language, respect it´s culture, respect it´s rules, etc. If that country is giving you the opportunities your own country couldn´t, then at least show some respect to it.

But also, I do believe that speaking another language is a sign of intelligence and a good educational level; it´s always good to learn something new and to be open to other cultures. If you see me here trying to speak english is not because I believe is a "better" language, or because I want to forget about spanish; it´s only because I like to be able to speak to somebody else regardless his/hers mother language.

That´s why, here on the Internet, I see nothing wrong in trying to learn other language. There´s nothing wrong to learn some spanish or any other language to be able to talk to some new members, in my opinion. Following this logic, I should leave MHM and join some hispanic unreal communities.

I agree you should learn SOME of it's language when visiting.
Unless you live in Texas...then you better learn Spanish.
