The NrGzR
hey all.. im The_NrGzR.. 15 yearz old.. littl funny im now member of 2 clans but i lov UT more than any other PC games.... i simply love MH cuz its the only gamemode somthing happens in and i also most love team games.. im also moddin UT a littl with skins/voices
wich i like playin with online.. specially on ur servers cuz i can hear/see them ther
im an experienced UT player as long as i keep playin.. and my bots are getting VERY stupid cuz i can stand in front of them (like 1 metre) and they wont shoot .. in DM! of course
i hate my laptop sometimes cuz it laggs a littl EVEN in UT. not much but it does some areas depending on the map and wher ther are lots of monsters.. that is also why i die somtimes... but we aslo hav a xbox360 wich we play the bigger games on

- alertness;
- camping;
- strafing ability;
- favourite weapon;
- jumpy behaviour.
Don't forget that certain custom maps do NOT have bot support, maybe that's why they act like dumbs.

If you're running UT from a laptop and you're experiencing lags or hiccups, they are most likely the effect of your laptop's energy conservation settings.
I'm running Vista Home Basic and found changing the advanced power settings for my High Performance power plan fixed the problem. You need to find the advance settings and set the maximum processor usage to 100%, minimum 5% if it isn't already.
Also if you're running from Vista, try launching the UnrealTournament.exe file by right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator." This allows Vista to give UT unlimited resources, thus allowing for better performance.
Here is a screen shot of what I see from Vista. If you're running XP, what you see may be similar, but either way you get the gist of what you need to do.

Good, try launching the UnrealTournament.exe file by right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator" and see if that helps at all.
