Wanted: Good Map Maker

Been thinking about having a custom signature map made for my server. It will be of course a circus. Anybody up for the task? Compensation for time of course . . . .
Evil is obvious only in retrospect.

Already chewing on it.....If I just had time, I've always wanted to do a Ringling Bros. map. The 256bit colors would fit just right in the theme. Skin out a few of the jurrasic dinos as elephants, add some fun sound effects like crowd roars on score....

I'm gonna talk myself into this.

You might replace the translocator with the portal gun . That would be fun and pretty unique, since redeemers can pass through portals.

Oh wow, wouldn't that add a real layer to deemer servers. Pop a portal behind someone and deemer through it.

In addition to what we have with the guided missile, I'd like to see a Redeemer that shoots heat seeking missiles.
So for example if a "sprayed" missile gets close enough to you...you better RUN because it'll chase you down.

In other words, a mix between the Redeemer and the homing rockets. Hmm homing warheads :twisted:

I hate to keep "adding" more weapons to "Redeemer" - why?
Just play regular DM for that.
Or just use the ArenaMatch mod as that can add weapons to the game.
Maybe just modify the redeemer some?
I am not real apposed to the heat seeker, but again, even that would take away from the skill end of redeemer.
You wouldn't have to place the missile's aim as exacting anymore, just make it close is all you would need. (Less Skill)
I think redeemer should be just that - Redeemer with NO other weapons!

Not to "DIS" Hook by any means but I'm not opposed to people trying to find a new way to play this mod. I've tried tons of new things over the years but did come back to the way CG is now. The portal gun idea may be fun though I still have never played with it. I'd like to see the grapple hook used with this mod and I have done it before too and thought it was cool but too many people complained so I reverted back. So bring your ideas to the table people. I'm willing to voice my opinion about ideas here so let them fly! I put Monster Hunt Warlords on CG once and set them to not be able to take damage but to be able to dish it out all day. That was fun for me but everybody hated it becasue the warlords were too bad-a**. Fun times!

It was not a command. I had to make a file in UnrealEd and make a edited version of the Warlord. Then I'f force people to download it when they connected to play and the mod I made would change the default life of the warlord to be far more than one could ever kill even with 1000 redeemers. I still have that mod here somewhere I think but I'm not sure. There are directions for how I did it listed under one of my many posts at BeyondUnreal. com or at UnrealAdmin.com .

It was very hard for me to do it but I did get it done and it was the last time I ever messed with UnrealED.

If you ever want to do something like that again I'll show you a simple line of code that will discard any damage to the monster and save you the trouble of altering the health.
