Monster Hunt, Now in the form of Invasion? Hmm Sorta like MH-SpawnKill you ask? Well Yeah i suppose, just new map layout :) And a boss at the end of each *Wave* Of monsters, Check it out! this is currently a part of the arena *Unlit since i only started work a few hours ago*

Looking good so far i have a suggestion for this map, since its invasion style with many waves of monsters in the same area add a BT section where new weapons can be unlocked so players dont get bored and have somthing else to do other than kill monsters. This will make the map popular and will get voted for alot i think.

Well I do enjoy BT too! Things to make it more appeal for the ones that don't really want to fight waves of monsters and BT, so maybe there's something else to add that everyone has fun doing! I have fun sniping monsters... :shock: :o
I just had a BRILLIANT idea that would be fun for EVERYBODY!!! I'll submit it when I know how to make creature factories. EA, could you tell me how to make a creature factory where it respawns forever until you kill a certain amount of that same type of monster?

Monsters appear from each creature factory forever. Only one monster can appear at a time from each creature factory (I'm going to have 5 of them). I start with pupaes. When you kill 30 pupaes total, then a door opens to the next wave that does the same thing only a different monster. Could you tell me how to do that? If it's a code, I don't know how to use codes and you would have to tell me that. If I can get that to work, it should (and hopefully) be fun for everyone! I'll let you be the first to try it out if I can get it to work.

just do it the same way i am making my MH-Invasion to work, Make Dispatchers, set creature factories a set number of monsters, then when all of those are dead *counted down by a counter* then the next wave starts up from the counter activating another dispatch event... Not too hard is it? :)

I'm not what you call and expert at this, but... I'm lost so I guess I'll do it some other time. I always have great ideas for things I can't even make. If you don't wanna help me with it or bother explaining all the steps like BB Drac can, I'll just PM the monster idea!

I Am telling u all steps, Make ThingFactories, SpawnPoints connected to the ThingFactories, make the ThingFactories spawn however many monsters you want and set the Prototype to whatever monster u want, Then add a counter connected to the thingfactory and spawnpoints that counts how many monsters are spawned until the max number is reaches, then that will activate a new trigger to trigger something else... It's not hard at all, simple Ued Actor Buildup

Prowner seems like a nice kid, but he's starting to fall into the "can't be assed to look it up myself, you'll just have to do it" category.

Everybody wants to make Andromeda right out of the gate. This is exactly why you can easily name 10 bad maps for every one good.

Right anyway back on topic, i am currently editing the map with spawn areas for each type of monsters + Boss and edited it to MH so people should be able to play it easier, if all goes well the map should be up for tests tonight, i will also add a RAR download for the map as well so u dont have to download any crap from the server since redirects seem to hate me lol.

Hope to see a few people around tonite :)

While I still regard Derdak2rot as the best MH map maker ever, I still feel that NR2000's Andromeda is the pound for pound best MH map ever made. He got way ahead of the curve back then when he released it. Waaaaaaaay ahead!

I Know i am not the best mapper ever, dont regard myself to be and i probably never will be, but all i wanna do is try to keep UT Alive a little longer by making new maps for people to have a go on

I Had Derdak2Rot as a teacher for a good time back in the day xD And yeah Andromeda is DEFINATELY overrated, alot of it is CUBES! xD

Anyways nice to see ya taking an interest in one of my works Hermie ;)

Technically if you think about it...
Every single thing in existence has some cubical features. The curves you make have flat surfaces on them, AKA a cubical feature! 8) :P
