Mapping help >>Dissapearing walls

Post by K » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:29 pm

I have these fences that are obviously messed up looking now.
They were fine till i added the waterzone sheet brush for the little creek that runs under the building.
Now half the fence and corners of the buildings are see through?
WTF do i do about this?

The fence and the posts are all semisolids already so i wondering what else can be done?

I'm no mapper but I would think that mapping accepts the last command so what if you now reapply the fences and part of the building?

srry Herm but it doesn't work like that.
If all is proper you don't get things disappearing. If i don't fix it the map will have BSP holes and will not look good.

You can try re-ordering the build, but I have to ask ...
Are those Semi-Solids intersecting or deintersecting wtih ANYthing?
They Cannot!!!

No they are not intersecting.

I figured it out by changing what was semi and what was not. I had the whole fence set to semi and that gave me problems so i just solid a couple sections.

I have the fence sheets set to block actors and pawns but i can still walk through them? fix?
Do you know where i need to set it to kill encroachers? The fence doesn't move but i want it to kill you if you touch it.
