light mover and mover lighting question.

Ok so i have this walkway that comes out of a wall when you flip switch #1
The switch works fine and is connected to a dispatcher.
Dispatcher set to extend walkway and works fine.

Problem:
I want a red light on the wall to rotate like a siren when the walkway is extended to use. I tried to use trigger light actor but i cant get it to light up.
it is tagged and listed in the dispatcher events. puzzled.:?

Also my walkway is not lit when it comes out of the wall even though there is a light right above it! How do i get it to be lit not cloaked in shadow? :roll:

Any help is appreciated. I have tried different methods and i cant seem to figure out the right way to do this.

There is a "property" you must set for movers to have light work on them!
It has been years, but I remember there is a setting.
I believe it is a true or false setting. ???
I'll see if I can find it.
In my map DM-FragginsteinCastle, the lifts reflect light as they move through lit areas.
I had to set a property for them to do this!
I read about it in a tutorial that i probably still have somewhere in my comp.
Again - I'll see if I can find it. :wink:

Sweet, if you can find it that would be completely Boss!
But if you cant the map name is enough. i can search through the properties and find it. :D

OK - I believe this is it!
Right Click on the purple Mover Brush itself.
Select Mover Properties ...
then go down to Mover ...
then set "bDynamicLightMover" to "True"
I am 99% sure that is the setting that lets light "play" off a mover! :D
Let us know if that does it for sure! :wink:

I haven't messed with it yet.

I got wrapped up in the completion of the rest of the map.
The time is approaching very soon when i must face this to finish the map. :D
