Sorry for being Klownz?
No apology needed.
Fuzz Ball will continue to loiter around the lint trap where he belongs.

Re: Dear Fuzz_Ball
Time for Fuzz to step it up a little...but at the same time Klownzy could be a tad nicer.
Yeah I know, I'm the one to talk...for years mercy was not in my vocabulary, but I'm doing my best to
help educate those of the weaker state.
I've even let a few players win in the last week or so...stings like hell because I play to win.
But we can't lose what we've built by scaring off players. So I'll sacrifice for the sake of mankind.
And I challenge Killer_Klownz to help me in my quest.
We have nothing to prove but we can make a difference.
Not that we should be "gentle" to all regulars...hell, regulars need to step it up a bit or move on.
I'm strickly talking about newbies and those that are clueless...
well clueless may include those regulars that can't improve.
Anyway, I'll do my best and I hope Killer_Klownz helps with this situation.
Then again it should be easy for KK because he doesn't play to win.

Re: Dear Fuzz_Ball
Well, MY take on it is that there are ultra good players but WHAT makes them ultra good? Is their advantage skill only? Do they have some sort of hardware edge over everyone else?
Please share.
Against many other players, I see improvements. I am constantly doing stuff that I swear will beat an opponent and I almost always come up short. Krazy Klown Armor? Protective MEAT gristle? It seems like I'm always behind by at least a full second. My ping is good, I have 2GB of ram, decent video card and tried a few tweaks as Hermskii wrote about in his world famous UT Manual.
Although I've updated a lot of my basic hardware, it's not cutting edge by any means.
I'm having a hard time (inspite of my experience) configuring port forwarding on my router. It's a 4 port Belkin that can't do DHCP and static IPs at the same time. I'm suspecting my problem lies there. Will port forwarding alone produce that winning edge?
Sure there's always room for more practice but MEAT & Klownz, for example are just ....... UNREAL.
