INTRODUCING...
CROSSBONES REDEEMER WORLD {CRW}
Another Great "CROSSBONES" Server!
The New Server and a New Name Joins the CROSSBONES Group!
This Server will ALTERNATE (or at times Coincide) with Our Original Server - {CMM}!!!
(Actually - I think that {CRW} will be our MAIN Redeemer server now!)

This NEW Server will be using TWO of the LATEST REDEEMER MODs by Gopostal called...
REDEEMER WORLD Containing FIVE (5) Redeemer Mods, New for 2010!
And ALSO our {CMM} Redeemer called...
PirateDeemerCMM ONE (1) more New Redeemer mod, New for 2010!
This New Server will have a CHOICE of FIVE (5)* Different Redeemers! (WAS 6) (So Far)

Note: The NAMEs (below) are NOT their in-game color.
It is just a way to make it easy to choose your Redeemer style.
REDEEMER CHOICES...

1) PirateDeemerCMM - All NEW Redeemer with a LOT of Goodies! - See {CMM}'s Forum!
2) BLUE-Deemer - A standard redeemer with Possible "Goodies" added. <-(REMOVED 5/16/2010 because of MapVote)*
3) GREEN-Deemer - Has an altered weapon HUD, Simple radar, as well as some different "Goodies". <-(Will Remove 5/18/2010)
4) YELLOW-Deemer - Has No alt-fire guided shell, but the primary fires VERY Fast. FULL Blast! Made for Larger maps.
5) ORANGE-Deemer - Smaller, Lighter, Faster than a normal redeemer. Has some custom decal work.
6) RED-Deemer - The Big Daddy of the bunch. This is a UT2k4 Redeemer import! (Watch Out - BIG Blast!!!)
7)??? Another Redeemer Type??? (not sure Yet - What Would I Add??? - Stay Tuned!)

{CRW} News 5/19/2010 ...

CROSSBONES REDEEMER WORLD {CRW}
Is Up, Running and Most of all VERY FUN!!!
I don't know why it took me so long to set this one up - it is Great! I LOVE it!
I should have set this new server up right away!
Even in its infancy, it seems to be an Awesome Redeemer Server already - I can't wait to play it again!!!
Gopo did a Great job on these mods for sure! - Thanks Gopo!

Some more of the Latest News about {CRW}...
I Removed ONE of the Redeemers, the BLUE Redeemer as it is a Stock Redeemer for the most part.
I had to do it, at least for now anyway, as MapVote bottomed out with using 6 different redeemers.
MapVote will only load up to 1,024 maps total over the 4 Map List Columns.
And the RED Redeemer wouldn't even load because of the maximum total map limit in MapVote of 1,024 maps.
We have way too many maps on our servers {CMM} and {CRW} to load up 6 times!
I may Remove ONE more redeemer type that is not used much in the near future, leaving the Best 4 Out of 6 Redeemers.
We would then have the most Popular 4 Redeemer Types left - One for Each of the 4 MapVote Columns.
That would let {CRW} average at least 256 maps for each of the 4 MapVote Columns!
Note Also: I will also be removing the GREEN Redeemer also as it is Basically a Stock Redeemer also and the radar it has can be found in PirateDeemerCMM.
And, PirateDeemerCMM's Radar is a Better version than the GREEN Redeemer that differentiates between Real Players and Bots so you can go after the Real Players!
These Removals will make room for more maps in MapVote to show and also ONE (1) Whole Column for Each of the 4 remaining Redeemer mods.
The 4 BEST Mods I think and the MOST FUN 4 also!

The 4 MapVote Columns will be as follows now...

1) PirateDeemerCMM - All NEW Redeemer with a LOT of Goodies! - See {CMM}'s Forum!
2) YELLOW-Deemer - Has No alt-fire guided shell, but the primary fires VERY Fast. FULL Blast! Made for Larger maps.

What is Next? - I will be working on Tweaking these 4 Redeemers as to maps to use for each, bot amounts, NO-Bots? - I want to bring back a NO-Bots Section as soon as possible, or some option for this. - And???...

I REALLY Love Playing {CRW} now - Especially using the ORANGE-Deemer!!!
ALL the redeemer types on {CRW} are FUN for sure, but That ONE, the ORANGE-Deemer, seems to be VERY FUN!
The ORANGE-Deemer seems to Really have a Lot of action and the BOTs seem to play it very well.
The BOTs Play it much better than most other more normal redeemers for sure!

The ORANGE-Deemer is currently in Column 3 of MapVote on {CRW}.

The ORANGE-Deemer on {CRW} Fires or Travels VERY Fast!
This creates a LOT of FAST Action for sure.
Of course you are still able to Right-Click (Alt-Fire) the ORANGE-Deemer where you can "Ride" the missile around.
This of course requires just a bit more skill "piloting" the missile around! LOL

The ORANGE-Deemer also has Great NEW Sounds.
The Firing is cool and the Traveling Sound as the Missile goes by you is really cool.
The Blast Sound is a Real Sharp CRACK-BOOM like a high explosive Firework or C7 and you can hear it Echo too like the real thing!

The ORANGE-Deemer is by far the Best Redeemer mod to use with BOTs that I have seen.
The BOTs seem to do well with it and fairly rarely blow themselves up, or at least not at all as often as with most other redeemers.
The BOT's scores almost always are in the positive numbers at the end of the games - much more like real players.
This of course is due mostly to the Smaller Blast Radius of the ORANGE-Deemer.
And I have found it much more difficult to beat SOME of the bots, Especially some of the Tweaked-for-Redeemer bots that {CRW} (and CMM) use.
They really do a pretty darn good job!
One thing that I have to do now is to Take Notes as to which bots do the best and then maybe tweak some of the other bots more like them.
Off Hand, Under casual observation, the Bot named "JACKO Jouster" seems to do very well for one that I noticed, so far.
There are other bots too, and they ALL do pretty good!

I guess the Best way to describe the ORANGE-Deemer is to say it is kind of like Rocket Arena on Steroids!
I have always liked Rocket Arena also!
As opposed to Rocket Arena though, the ORANGE-Deemer has Faster Missile Action with a Bigger Blast and Noise and you can also ride it!
You gotta TRY the ORANGE-Deemer (If you Haven't Already) - It is Awesome!
If you have tried it - you know what I am talking about!

Actually, those Videos are a lot like the RED-Deemer on {CRW}! (The BIG Daddy of them all)

And the ORANGE-Deemer has a LOT more Action and the Bots actually do pretty darn good with the ORANGE-Deemer! (read above)

Well, for some actual feedback...
Hey, we had a BLAST on {CRW} Friday night!
SB, Sam and myself played and we 3 all had a Great time!
Again, the ORANGE-Deemer (Column 3 in MapVote on CRW) was a BIG Hit!
Sam has played most any redeemer server that is any good but really liked the play with the ORANGE-Deemer and the CRW server.
Sam was a pretty darn good player I might add also and very precise and used skill to boot.
Sam really seemed to like how you had to have some "Skill" and also a good "Aim" with ORANGE-Deemer, and Not relying on a large blast radius to do the fragging For you!
SB (Silent Bob) did also.
Most fun they had in years! - And I really have to agree with them myself also!
We are getting more and more players at {CRW} and I really think we are on the right track now.

Actually, Yes, the RED-Deemer is merely the UT2k4 Redeemer and yup it isn't anything special other than the big blast, etc.
I will most likely be weeding out the RED-Deemer (MapVote Column 4) and replacing it with a better Game there!
I have a few New Ideas in mind for CRW.
I am thinking of a NO BOTs Column again and also a TEAM-Redeemer Column using the ORANGE-Deemer!
Or also maybe a CTF-Deemer and/or other Gametypes using same?!?

Just make a RAINBOW Deemer mod and put all of them together. I mean the player starts with a set of five different redeemers and can use the best one according to his/her taste.

A sort of Last Man Standing Redeemer Arena: for example weapon number 3 is the Sniper Redeemer, weapon number 4 is the UT2k4 Redeemer, weapon number 5 is the stock UT99 Redeemer, weapon mumber 6 is the Radar Redeemer, etc.

For the record the red deemer code is wormbo's. It's used with permission but one of the stipulations was that I use the redeemer he created without altering the file, hence the reliance on the external packages. I did manage to hack a real 2k4 shell onto it but the unworking contrail really bugs me. Had I been able, I would have fixed some of the netcode and made it more UT friendly. As it is I have to "call" the 2k4 redeemer into the mod as-is and use it. I struggled with including it but in the end it added variety.

Sorry I wasn't home until real late so I couldn't Join in again on Saturday Night.
I was Up North doing some work at the Cabin and got back late.
I see Iron Chef was on again - I'll see you when I can!
It will be nice when I get {CLD} set up (The PRO Rental Server) so we can Really play hard there with the Redeemer World goodies and have a Great Connection!
