I just installed:

1. UT
2. 436 NoDeltaPatch
3. Bonus Pack 1
4. Bonus Pack 3
5. Bonus Pack 4

I then configured the game to play.
I clicked on the Deathmatch tab and it populated.

I thought the master servers were down. I tried this just a few days ago and got an error message saying the master Server could not be reached or something like that. What is up?

I have the default servers in the unrealtournament.ini being:

ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=unreal.epicgames.com MasterServerPort=27900
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master0.gamespy.com MasterServerPort=27900
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.mplayer.com MasterServerPort=27900

I have not seen the item you listed but will be happy to give it a look later. Right now I'm just trying to modify my latest how to install UT file and have found somethings no longer apply like using the EavyServerBrowser now breaks the default game servers search function.

All of this recent discussion about new master server listings needed to be in the ini file and Nelsona's instructions to fix MH so the servers can be listed has messed up my documentation. I'm trying to as simply as possible correct it. Did you ever get the email I sent you about a week ago from this forum? You never responded.

Holy Awesomeness that thing Gott made is awesome. I can't get the MH filter to work but only gave it a few minutes to goof with it. he needs a huge pat on the back for that XBrowswer. It is awesome!

Normally, when a Master Server seems to not work simply give one ping for verification.

In other words using the Epic Master Server, MonsterHunt section is filled with all active servers. XBrowser I recognize that helped me but I wanted to do something without filling in Client any stuff.

This is server stuff not client.
Client stuff is linked all related to word "browser".

If DeathMatchPlus section is filled with servers, then I expect to be filled and the MonsterHunt. If are not many MH servers using 333Networks, then MonsterHunt list is not going to be too bulky if it is used only 333Networks as browsing source.

XBrowser bypasses the entries in the UT ini and has its own editor (of sorts) so you can add your own missing groups/filters.

Nelsona also has his solution which behaves more like the original (have you posted it here Nelsona ? I know you posted it at Hooks).
Both have advantages and are worth comparing.
Nelsonas easy to drop-in version also comes pre-setup with multiple masters.

Back to your ini file;
Because GameSpy is no longer sending a master update, your config may be "stuck"
Epic are running the unreal.epicgames.com master but you may want to swap it to utmaster.epicgames.com
Both Epics masters are running on the same server, so using both is pointless.

My current uplink section looks like this;

These are all the known uplink systems still running (I'm not so sure about master1.multiplay.co.uk though)

Go down to the section "[UBrowserAll]" and make sure one of them is looking at the UT master

Nice. I have done both under different installs. I like both for different reasons.

I like Nelsona's because it leaves the server search page looking stock the way we are used to it.

I like the XBrowser one because it is so easy to install and powerful across the board.

I had not seen or heard of this part of it. I had tried out the client side browser. I have to look at this more closely but based on how much I like the XBrowser I suspect this may be a go. Thanks.

Ah well you have probably worked it out by now, but you can see the difference by browsing the existing server list.
Those that use the server-side bit are providing XBrowser with the extended server info and country flags.

You should have just 333Networks Masters and also Epic's Master in your server's master list.
