Now I feel bad for Herm. I didn't stop to think about this being something he'd need to deal with. Please know that I've tried to take care of the issue in other ways.
I completely and totally stopped going to Meat's server a long time ago. Often I want to play and the only players are on Meat's, but I refrain.
I've tried to be invisible, but changing my name doesn't work at all.
If I'm on CG or Hooks and Meat joins I leave, even knowing that he's going to bad mouth me to the other players. I know because they all tell me.
Meat doesn't understand that I leave because I choose to play people whom I consider nice instead and instead of allowing me to exercise that freedom he has to go out of his way to hassle me.
It is confusing to me that literally everyone I've ever played with has negative things to say about Meat when he's not around, but have no interest in expressing those opinions openly. I admit, I'm not the "politically correct" sort...I think it's an ignorant notion.
I am the democratic sort though and I'm interested in what's best for the greater number.
Since this is a problem that only affects me and since it's creating more problems than existed before, it seems that the only real problem is in fact me.
I'm all too happy to disappear if someone would let me. All I want to do is be able to play the game without interference.
I've already given up plenty in attempts to make this happen....I don't go to meats, I leave perfectly good games with friends when he joins. I'm the one doing all the sacrificing here. Isn't that cool? I'm not causing the problem, I am the one sacrificing in hopes to lessen the problem, yet I'm getting nowhere.
Look, when someone can't leave an inert situation alone it's a sickness, no different than bullying is a mental sickness. I call it like I see it and I wont apologize for that.
Again though, I'd be all too happy to never post here again and just play the game and the only thing it would take is for Meat to let me be.
Everyone seems aware of my name calling, but overlooks the fact that I didn't call the first name. I don't know where you folks come from, but where I come from when someone calls you a chicken chit it's your duty and right to show them how wrong they are no different than if I encounter that person in a bar. I'm willing to waste valuable time and money just to meet Meat face to face. It's not a threat, but I guarantee that face to face he wouldn't call me a chicken chit and after knowing that I could locate him whether he wants me to or not, it would probably keep him from screwing with me in the game.
I'm a good person believe it or not, but I've paid my dues in life and I wont cow-tow to a punk. I can back my mouth up when need be and I think those who can't should probably speak to those who can differently.
I've never been unfair to anyone here or in a match. I'm a good sport, I don't just say I help other players out, but actually do all the time...ask anyone. I'm encouraging to other players, etc, etc.
To me, players like Meat ruin something that is supposed to be recreational and enjoyable. Am I wrong? Does everyone else here enjoy the abrasive attitude? Does it make game play better or worse?
I'm not going to stop playing UT. I've been doing this since Quake II, so I'm going nowhere. I will play in peace even if I have to go to extremes to do so, but it's not like I haven't tried everything else first.
I want to play in peace and it has nothing to do with game skill, but rather social skill or the lack of it. I don't avoid being beat in a match and I get beat all the freaking time. Meerkat beats me and when he does he gets the biggest GG!!!! I can type.
Believe me, this issue has nothing to do with game skill.
And remember folks, there is no TEAM in MEAT....oh wait...there is isn't there.

Like Hermskii - I have not had time to read this all either, let alone "digest" it all.
Just some quick scans.
I have just been very busy with other things this past weekend.
I am Not happy with it all either, from what I have scanned.
SHOULD I read it all thoroughly?
I think that I will leave it alone!!!

I know everyone involved, (like Fuzz stated, we all know how MEAT is, etc.) so I do not need to go through this all -
- Like SB with MEAT, -> I "choose" not to even "go there" as they say.

I also KNOW SB pretty well now, and what he says just above seems to ring true with me and you are Always welcome at any of my servers I put up.

I KNOW that SB only leaves because he just does not want to even be around MEAT.
It is just Not fun for him.
MEAT seems to jump on this and act as if it is being chicken!? huh?
SB has nothing to hide and also has absolutely NO "fear?" (huh? again) of the possibility of loosing to anybody.
Same as me. That is totally absurd!

I myself seem to loose more and more lately LOL - but, I still Love Playing UT!

I don't think MEAT is a "bad" person really, but I do not like his arrogant attitude, etc., even playing UT - not why I play to listen to that.

Soooo, I merely tolerate him.

As far as the logs go, I am not sure I even Have the "logs" to post SB, sorry! - I may or may not.???
The "ucc.log" is gone as the server was re-started because of some tweaks that were done this past weekend.
I DO have other ".log" logs (example: Unreal.ngLog.2010.11.13.02.25.51.7777.log files) but I cannot seem to read them - I do not even know how.

(or I forgot because of my ever aging mind)
Maybe it is best to just cut the losses and forget about this whole thing.
MEAT has told me he will leave {CLD} alone and not bother SB there anymore.

I am not going to "blame" either one of you for anything - I do not care to.
I am disappointed in some of the "other" people commenting with the harsh accusations and names.
At first I thought that Fuzz was seriously calling SB a cheat - I briefly lost any respect I had for him - then I said to myself that No, Fuzz MUST be joking in his way is all.
But, I guess Fuzz's "timing" for joking about that was all "OFF" there is all.

Anyway - I am forgetting this whole thing - or at least shutting it all out.
