1 of my fave geeky maps is DM-LV-426-Infested which is based on the 2nd film from the Alien series: Aliens.
It's got the Space Marines vehicles outside, the inside structure of the colony, and a xenomorph nest built under it...
...with pathing for xenomorphs to spawn in down there and make their way up into the colony to patrol for players they can attack.
From any gametype: what is your favorite map that's based off a movie, television series, comicbook, and/or novel?

I love the MH-Indiana Jones map from I guess the 2nd of the Indiana Jones movies. That map is just plain sweet.

Does it have the mine cars to ride in?
I recall that the game Tomb Raider 3 ripped off the mine car riding. I found it a fun way to kill off Lara Croft. Man, that 3rd edition of the game was one bug filled and boring crap fest, overall.
Any UT version couldn't possibly be any worse!

OMG! Really, You haven't played Indiana Jones yet? I will lock down the server so just you and I can play and we'll do the map together in less than 30 seconds. I can point out all the cool stuff that fast. Nope, no mine cars.

Re: For the more hardcore geeks amongst us...
I'm still not back online. That might change in the new year if my dentist doesn't get all my spare cash yet again. (Lost a filling in a tooth that was 25% silver filling..... if he can use that new stuff to rebuild the tooth, great! If he has to cap it, *damn*!)
Then all I have to do is get a new ISP, and a new PC.
Is it possible to get a decent i7 pc with a good vid card that is all SSD for $1k US? I am sick of hdd failures and am holding out for all solid state.

Don't you dare do that. You can go to best buy and buy a cheap laptop with a SSD in it for just over a couple $100 dollars. You don't do anything that requires a i7 processor either. I'm guessing you cruise the internet and check email. Other than that, you just want to game some. All you need is a i3 at best. So shop amazon or best buy for a i3 proc laptop that has a big ssd and you are set. Now please just send me 1/5 of the $500 I just saved you. Wait. This whole discussion just dejavu'd me. You better at least get a laptop this time.
