Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
Oooo I do love Ducati's. I doubt if I could still fold myself up sufficiently to fit let alone ride one of those any more though.
The retro Indian is a bit cheaper, around $130,000 cheaper to be sure, but if you win the lotto, who cares?

Well I'm not a big fan of bikes but, since this is the threat for what vehicle we'd love to have, here is my dream car:

Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
Good one Supreme. I have seen some Dodge Vipers a couple years ago. The worst thing I have seen done to a Viper was the moron owner had after market exhaust put on it so it would "rumble" loud. A car like that should be stealthy and quiet.
Anyway, I like the new Camaro 2SS.
Here is a 2011 2 SS

Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
Gahhh! The cager's have hijacked my thread! You wanna talk about cars; start yer own thread!
Getting back on topic:
Here's a nice new starter bike from HD I read about yesterday in Cycle World's September issue. It features radial tires, a more comfortable saddle, and improved lowering suspension.
HD Sportster Superlow
If I win the lotto here is the other bike I would buy, except I would customize it quite a bit. (All vivid black everything, with just a hint of chrome here and there.)
2010 Fatbob

Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
The first Hog was too boring and traditional. That 2nd one you listed is handsome!

Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
It's the first Harley to ever use radial tires! The sportster engine is now rubber mounted since 2004, the shocks front and back of that bike are greatly improved, as is the saddle. It still looks traditional, but it's almost all new. Well, for a Harley that is.Hermskii wrote:The first Hog was too boring and traditional. That 2nd one you listed is handsome!
The Fatbob name has been used before, but this latest edition is wicked looking. It would be especially so if they built it along the same lines as the "nightster" or some of the other all blacked out Harley's they've been making recently.

Re: Dammit, I WANT one!
Hey Supreme, my next full out crotch rocket will be one of those busas. For now, I'm aiming for a Honda XR650L so I can play on the dirt and ride on the street. The Busa will come along in about 3-4 years. I'm tired of crotch rockets right now.
~Peace~

Quick, go to Jay Leno's garage and check out the featured video of a Scott Flying Squirrel:

Every time you think they've come up with something new in motorcycling, you find out that someone had already tried it decades ago.
