Share your Screenshots

Post by EvilGrins » Thu Aug 11, 2011 1:52 am

In the interests of creating a new, and hopefully popular, thread... here's a place to post any screenshots you've made that are particularly interesting. Either because something impressive or funny happened in it.

From any of the Unreal games!

Unreal 2:

I call this one "I don't like you"

Unreal Tournament:

No title, i just like it.

See if you can upload these shots here instead of from somewhere else. Bang on me to open a FTp upload folder dor folks or something. Your site where these shots are will eventually go away or prune out old pictures. I will not do that here. Find a way to upload the pictures here!

HOOK, anybody...does anyone know how to do this this?

Actually, the only flaws in livejournal pic hosting is it doesn't so much prune as some links go dead. I've got pics hosted there from over a decade ago that still work fine and others from only about a week back that don't work at all.

As I tend to post some stuff there first rather than other places, I'll probably keep hosting there. Still, if you do have a photo area... I'm not opposed to using it.

They'll break alright...just a matter of time. I hate photobucket but until I have a better answer we will lose all of these shots eventually.

I used to use photobucket but it had issues and at the time livejournal didn't have photo hosting capabilities yet.

The Skaarj have invaded Naboo...

Did I ever mention a mapper who was just about to stop playing ut99 altogether about 6 years back designed 5 really high end Star Wars maps first? No? Must've slipped my mind. Sadly, I don't think his stuff is online anymore so I may be one of the few that still have them.

Nice pics as always buddy. You make the game more appealing to those just starting out, we appreciate that.

It's not just a background. That entire fight Darth Maul had with Obiwan & Quigon, those multiple leveled paths and that area with the laser field protection screens? It's all there. You can run the paths, you can jump the levels, just don't tough that bluish stuff in the middle cuz it will fry you.

The guy that did the map incorporated as much of the palace and hangar into the map as he could, with very little playing degredation of quality. It all handles very smooth, even on older and slower computers.

DM-Nabooft looks interesting - is it large?

Yes, I think I also found your URL you posted above though another good UT place... he (his site/forums) are another premier UT site that is gathering together and preserving UT files.
