Re: YouTubeFest...
I needed a laugh so I had to go find some.
Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?

Re: YouTubeFest...
I couldn't listen to the music because I can't multitask. I was too busy just watching. There may be cussing in the music but like I said I don't recall hearing any cussing. If there is...my apologies.
Enjoy! Game! Match! Winner!

Re: YouTubeFest...
Quality wasn't there but it had me from the start anyways. Very well done I thought. Thanks for finding that and putting it up. I can't wait to show my boys that one. The guy did a great job making Superman look like Christopher Reeves too who will always be the best Superman that ever played the part.

Re: YouTubeFest...
Dagnabit how am I supposed to finish the process of becoming a Luddite when I keep finding cool old videos on YouTube, many of which I've never seen before?

Re: YouTubeFest...
When I first heard the beginning, I knew the song but I also knew Twisted Sister did not sing the version I knew as a kid. Hahaha. Good fine!

Re: YouTubeFest...
Clearly I had some help "embedding" that Twisted Sister video to which I referred. What is it that must be done besides pasting the url between ?

Not the whole url, just the end section after the /a nameless entity wrote:Clearly I had some help "embedding" that Twisted Sister video to which I referred. What is it that must be done besides pasting the url between ?
If this is it:

Re: YouTubeFest...
LOL I have been listening to many of the videos of the music from the early '60's, and some stuff from the '40's and '50's ( The Andrews Sisters, The Chordettes, Lesley Gore, The Angels, etc.) and in the comments section is almost always some post about how terrible music is nowadays and how it took genuine talent to make it back in the day. Often there will be a swipe against some current artist like Lady Gaga or some such too.
Interestingly, I have seen a number of comments from teenagers who either say much the same thing, or that they wish that they had been alive when music was that way.
That's sad. It seems that we have lost a lot of something since those times, for a kid to react that way.
