Altogther, unless you wanna list them by gametype, how many maps do you have for UT?
Now, whether you use MapVote, MapRandomizer, or some other map mutator to determine what you play next, how many of those maps do you regularly play on?
Reason I'm asking: I've got 1,420 maps but I tend to find I frequently only regularly play about a dozen of them.
Was wondering if this was common to the rest of you too.

Wow, that's a lot! I used to have a lot in the past, but these years (After several reinstallations)
I do ........maybe come .....to a little collection of 300 maps. I think you have a record there EG.
Be proud of it.

Re: How many maps poll...
I answered this over at UT99.org also, as that is where I saw this poll first.
Anyway, I'd have to go count them, but I figure off the top of my head that I have at least a few thousand UT99 maps.
I use MapVote on our servers, but in the rare times I play offline I just choose from the map list myself.
On the servers, we mainly play between 30 and 50 maps most of the time, however, sometimes I search out maps that we haven't played for a long time or have forgotten how good they were.

Set it up so that the server won't allow a map to be played again for 50 maps. Yeah! That will get them cycled.
~Peace~

Yes, I have been thinking about doing that ever since I saw this posting.Hermskii wrote:Set it up so that the server won't allow a map to be played again for 50 maps. Yeah! That will get them cycled.
Try it out for awhile anyway.
