Survival test server
Guys here's a chance to see what I have been up to these last few weeks. There is a server up here: 8.12.64.108:7777 password: nextclown
This is running the gametype Dane and I have worked so hard at. It's very close to release, this last test should do it. Play it and tell me what you think. Also we put up a site dedicated to it http://www.utsurvival.com where you can ask questions or see more information.
Hopefully today goes well and we might release early. Please don't uncache the mod, as it is not the final version. This one is missing some of the goodies, but putting up a completed mod is not a good idea until its fully tested.
Thanks guys and please critique as you see fit. Oh a couple of rules that the game uses: if you get first blood in a round, you get an extra life in that round. Ammo and health regen is based on kills to keep you moving, and the enforcer has unlimited ammo so you are never without a weapon. All the stats and everything you see is included in the mod and configurable to use or not. It's all enabled for today because I want to see everything running full-on in testing.

Hey Postal, just to let you know, i know u wanted to make the monsters *Intelligent* As possible in AI, However the Spinner and Shadows u have which are the UTMHPack Spinners are kinda dumb, they shoot their projectiles at you from too far away so they dont hit you they hit a couple meters away from you, Maybe its possible to make a code in form of something like
Spinner:
If Playerpawn = +Some Distance* Fire mode = Disabled
Just so it doesnt fire at u when ur too far away, Otherwise its a very good new game type and i would be happy to have some games with it with People

The mod is great!
I only got to wave 3 before I quit but I have a question.
Round 1 has a lot of monsters but when round 2 came along there were very few
monsters. Is it supposed to be like that? Are other waves like that too?
If it is then I would add more monsters because a group of 3+ could take that wave out in a minute probably.
the only other thing is the monsters need to be more aggressive.
Its way to easy to simply go behind a pillar and the monsters forget all about you.
The ones you were fighting should at least chase you as a monster in MH would.
I liked the custom monsters added to the mix of monsters it made it unique.
Also the custom orange health/armor looked nice.
Its good that the ammo doesnt constantly regain
it makes it a challenge when you have to find ammo or use a different gun.
The mod is really good.

It takes ages to download all required packages with dial-up. I give up.

Gopo I have a question for you: does this mod conflict with Valhalla Avatar? I've tried to upload a new mod on the MHMIII server but it's not working properly and I fear it's because of ValAvatar.

The first few waves are somewhat warm up waves. It gets tough around 8. The monster's spawn numbers are low with only one person in the server as having 20 to 1 would be no fun.
And yes you can snipe and hide. There is really no way to prevent that. We tried to make the maps with that in mind, but it can't be stopped if that's the way a player wants to play. You'll appreciate being able to do that though about wave 11
