BPak - BoomBoy's Excessive Weapons

Brief description by *POTS*
Set of mutators that can replace the stock UT weapons with very powerful counterparts.
For those of you who are familiar with the Excessive Overkill mod, this is sort of the BoomBoy's version of it.

Pros: very powerful weapons. The package contains also some well known strong monsters like the OMG Titans, the Kamikaze Pupaes and the MiniLords, if you're a mapper.

Cons: handle with care, excessive spam could crash the servers.

PirateGrav - Low Gravity mutator

Brief description by *POTS*
Low gravity mutator that allows pickups such as the JumpBoots.
Specially useful for those who are using or wants to use custom JumpBoots in their maps.
I added a basic ReadMe to the ZIP package.

Pros: see above

Cons: just use the BotPack.LowGrav mutator if you don't mind about JumpBoots

[Edit]
Updated the ReadMe file following Hook's guidelines. Thanks to Gopostal and Hook for sharing this mutator.

UTPureRC7G anticheat mod (Admin's Tool)

Brief description by *POTS*
Probably the most famous anticheat mod ever made for UT. Configuration is not that easy, just read the original ReadMe carefully.

Pros: Optional support for BonusPack1, BonusPack4 and ValhallaAvatar, fixes some common exploits, not as frustrating as UTDC, and more.

Cons: Development has ceased a while ago, is kinda outdated and should be used together with UTDC. Do NOT use associated to the MonsterHunt and similar gametypes.

Boden Toys mutators

Brief description by *POTS*
Set of 6 different mutators:
* Headshot Ammo Reward 1.0.1
* Keep It Clean 2.0
* Kill or be Killed 1.0
* Map Config 1.3.0
* Slugboy 1.0
* Sniper Bounty 1.0

The most popular ones are the Keep it Clean and the Map Config:
ReadMe wrote:The Keep It Clean mutator is a way to protect servers from players who use offensive words in their names or messages to other players. (Of course, it can also be used to add language to a server to spice it up or just for fun.
ReadMe wrote:With this mutator, you can specify map-dependent game settings for up to 50 maps of any game type. All settings but one are managed by editing the Boden.ini file.
Just take a look at the ReadMe for detailed info.

Pros: -

Cons: -

JB Translocator

Brief description by *POTS*
ReadMe wrote:JB Transloc are two mutators for UT Jailbreak 3.
Jailbreak doesn't allow you to enable or disable the Translocator from its user interface, because it's a per-zone setting for Jailbreak maps.
JB Transloc allows you to enable or disable the Translocator on the whole map overriding the mapper's settings.
Official website: http://www.koehler-homepage.de/Wormbo/download.html

Pros: If you hate translocators and you love JB, this is a must-have.

Cons: Note that this mutator only has an effect in UT Jailbreak games.

Portal Gun v2

Brief description by *POTS*
Portal Gun for UT99.

Pros: hmm portals are fun! :P

Cons: this is extremely buggy, do NOT use on-line. Due to the Unreal Engine limitations you can't see through the portals.

IpToCountry v1.6 (Admin's Tool)

Brief description by *POTS*
ReadMe wrote: In short, as the name says, it can resolve a country from an IP address; it also resolves a hostname.
IpToCountry is meant mainly to be just a shared component between many other mods, for example recent versions of SmartCTF, etc. Don't expect much black magic from IpToCountry itself. But to not make you sad I've also made a little addon which will show players' country names after doing a mutate command, for admins there is a similiar command showing hostnames, this addon is enabled by default, but you can disable it in the config.
Official website: http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/showt ... hp?t=29924

Pros: Everyone is obsessed with those little flags...

Cons: not compatible with BunnyTrack++_v097, just stick with the old IpToCountry and pray for someone to update the BT mod;
Flags won't show up in Nexgen if you don't put the IpToCountry server actor above the Nexgen actor in the list;
You're a bunch of nosey gossip girls :P

*POTS* wrote:UT Turbocheck v1.47

Brief description by *POTS*
Quoting the author:
This is a small freeware program for the game Unreal Tournament whose primary goal is to show server info about the servers in your favourite list.

It also has a fast search function. Say you want to find all instagib servers, then you just load all servers from a master server, wait for the list to be updated and then enter the search windows and search for instagib you will then get a list with all instagib servers. This of course only works if the word instagib is a part of the server name or if the server shows that it uses an instagib mutator.
Just a couple more important things about this program:

1 - Click on the Setup button, select the Basic tab and where it says "UnrealTournament.ini file" put the location of your actual UT.ini (usually it's C:\UnrealTournament\System\UnrealTournament.ini)

2 - At the bottom of the same tab, where is says Master Servers, safely remove the unreal.epicgames.com:28900 one (since it doesn't work for UT clients but for UT servers only) and replace it with master.333networks.com:28900
The gamespy master doesn't seem to work with UT Turbocheck for some unknown reason, but at this post's date it works fine with the UT in-game browser.

Official website: http://www.kroning.dk/utturbo.html

Pros: you can keep trace of your buddies and favourite servers with no need to launch UT and little hardware resource consumption

Cons: the gamespy master server doesn't work with Turbocheck
Hi !
I tried to go there : http://www.kroning.dk/utturbo.html
but it seems the link is not good anymore. Is there another way to get Turbocheck ?
Thanks in advance, LePoLoo

UTJMH v2.9

Brief description by *POTS*
Calling this tool a mutator is reductive, this is a real server controller for the Monster Hunt mod; the first, the original one, this is how everything started and how MH became so popular. All the other MH mods are children of UTJMH, no matter what people say.
Note: this is the latest public version released. There is also a version 4 but has never made available to public.

Pros: introduces a new game style, makes uberhard maps possible, adds health and ammo regeneration, random awards, and more

Cons: mappers started producing tons of cubic maps with 1 billion everspawning monsters inside because they felt like there was nothing wrong with them, since people could install UTJMH.
The ReadMe is just an automatically translated version from the original Japanese one, plus the official website is dead I think, or at least it was the last time I checked it.

Yep, agree, if we talk about MonsterHunt, UTJMH 2.9 was my first meet with this mod runing in a server, is a basic element containing some modified UT codes and adapted for MH. Many, many mutators runing based on that controller. Indeed for me is mistery why was not released a better one. I think author was not so satisfied about all fixations and stoped working. This is at least what I saw in many attempts to fix basics. You cannot fight with default MonsterBase called by MH, and unfortunately UTJMH2.9 did only 70% of fixations. Indeed is a good example which point any coder to a good work.

BT CheckPoints v1.0

Brief description
ReadMe wrote:BT Players know that: You play an awesome BT map (which you don't know), but unfortunately you don't make it to the end because you die. That's very frustrating!

BTCheckPoints allows all BT players out there to set a 'Checkpoint' on which they will respawn after they die! Sounds cool, doesn't it?

From now on, you are able to discover BTMaps safely, without making thoughts about hidden crushers or anything that could move you back to your startspot! On top of that, this mutator is also a great help for rushers or for 'normal' players to get some practise on a map or on a specific obstacle!
Pros: read above. Basically, a relief for BT newbies (and pros willing to learn a new map as well)

Cons: seems to be buggy at times, at least online, from what I've noticed, specially if used with non-BT gametypes.
There's another version made by i4g, which is supposed to be better, but unfortunately it looks like it's private.
By default, usually you can't use checkpoints on movers and portals/teleporters, which includes also teleporting zones.
Less useful when playing BT maps requiring keys to go on.

Marginally Enhanced UT v1.00

Brief description
ReadMe wrote: Marginally Enhanced UT is a free modification for Unreal Tournament. It provides marginally enhanced replacements for the Player Setup and Configure Individual Bots windows, which fix some bugs.
Pros:
ReadMe wrote: * Increases the limit on the number of models available to be much larger than you probably want (up to 1000 models, 1000 voicepacks and 10 000 skins)
* Lets you increase those limits if necessary (up to a theoretical maximum of more than 2100 000 000, although you'll run out of memory long before that happens)
* Fixes models which don't have a proper Player Setup animation (notably Bonus Pack 4's 'Warboss' and 'Xan Mk.II')
* Enables the Robot voice (so custom models work) and the Boss model, even if you haven't completed UT (this can be switched off if you prefer)
* Fixes models getting the wrong skeletal animations, even for models which don't use Advanced Model Support
Cons:
ReadMe wrote:This mod does not replace your normal Player Setup or Configure Individual Bots windows, which still suffer from the same limitations as usual. Please avoid using those, since they will reset your model to one which is inside the 32-bot-class limit or the 64-player-class limit.

UT INT Generator v1.0

Brief description
ReadMe wrote: The UTINTGenerator is a small utility program which will build int files for .u files extracted by the UTCacheExractor (or another cache utility). This utility will scan the UT system folder for .u files that do not have a corresponding .int file, and generate one for you.
Pros: read above.

Cons:
ReadMe wrote: As a precaution against unnecessary (and unwanted) int entries, you will need to fill out the description portion of the generated int files manually, and uncomment the entries before they will be recognized by UT.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to accurately fill out the description based on parsing the .u files.
Currently this program only supports UT.
Note: haven't tested this yet, so test at your own risk. Don't expect miracles from it, as I strongly doubt it's gonna be capable of making working INTs for big mods and/or complex mutators.
