Recording players Taking Requests
I will be taking requests for anyone who wants game footage taken of them playing any of the Unreal Tournament Series. Shoot me a PM and we will work out the Details. This will be on my Youtube Channel showcasing The Servers of the Main 3 Forums Here, Thanks.

OpenGL issues
I noticed that fraps records too dark with direct3d so I upgraded to opengl37 which did brighten up the video but still having issues with getting the .ini correct. Anyone post there Opengl settings in their unrealtournament.ini?

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
Pots thanks for your quick reply, I am using an HD radeon 6850- on 22" LCD AOC monitor (60hz) IF this helps, I noticed when playing with the opengl that I was getting (not sure how to describe it) lines on my monitor when moving quickly with the mouse during and not during recording as well

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
Hmm... That's odd.
Check in your UT.ini under the [WinDrv.WindowsClient] section for this entry:
UseDirectInput
and set it to False.
Might be also a VSync related problem, not sure. Try enabling/disabling Vsync, and set the FrameRateLimit to 60, as well as the RefreshRate in the OpenGL options.

I left vsync off as my unreal crashes when i turn it on and i have min framerate set to 60 and maxframerate in the opengl section set to 100

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
Well if you have them installed already, the output video will look cooler than if you're using the plain old normal textures.

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
Okay, I will install them in a different ut directory and give it a go when I get off work, I just need the screen flickering to go away so I cna play and record correctly.

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
I'd say to avoid S3TC for any testing for any reason for now. Get everything all good and then go the S3TC route. I'm drinking so forgive me if I jumped ahead of myself here and misunderstood but I stand by what I say anyways. During testing, stick to the basics. Get fancy later.

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
Interesting. I hope DIEHARD gets in here and mentions recording and S3TC. I thought I recalled an issue happening there. I may be wrong. I may be right. It may have been fixed. I don't know. Good luck!

Re: Recording players Taking Requests
I will test this week with the textures, I really haven't noticed a difference graphics wise using them
