Re: Official {MHM} Change Log. Make all change requests here!
Simply because there ARE no compressed files in your system folder.
And for the record I wasn't laughing *at*you pots, it was just funny to see you compressing your entire drive <chuckle snort> I cannot begin to tell you the times I have done things like this.
Since you are a for-real server admin now, stop trying to make things harder than they should be. Find the right tool for the job and learn to use it properly:

I know you have issues with the SP download, but find a way to make it work. This will do everything you need, then some. I use this program pretty close to every day.

I still can't understand why you can't use the "*" character for DEcompressing files.
Please check the directory, there are 2 compressed files now! If you can compress them you are supposed to be able to decompress them as well, but it seems like it's a one-way process.

I'll make the batch that does what you want. Bug me again about this or just bump this all through the weekend. I'll get it done.

You are going to find this happens lots of times when you run a server. You think it should work one way but it doesn't. It's been my experience that spending hours and hours figuring out why sometimes falls under the heading of "futility" when you can simply switch directions and deal with the problem another way. I used to make admin harder (way harder) than it needed to be and that was reflected in my behavior. I've learned to just fix and move on. Much less stress that way.

I guess this falls into the "female software AKA femware" category, just like that Master333 server. Let's forget about this and move on.

It is on. I have added 2 maps at HellFire's request:
1. MH-Exotic
2. MH-DKceremony_fix
I have not played them yet but if HellFire says to do it, well, you better just do it!
Let me know what you think!

Re: Official {MHM} Change Log. Make all change requests here!
Hi folks! Let's be clear about something AGAIN. This is the change log for MHM and not MHM2 or 3 or 4 or whatever number we are up to right now. This is for MHM which is my server. There is another forum for MHM2, 3, or 4 etc etc and it too has a change log there to fill out for it so please use it. Thanks!
Nameless requested that I change the name of the map called MH-CanyoRevamp2 to MH-CanyonResearchLab. I have done so which means a change has happened thus I'm posting about it here! Anything else folks while I'm here? I think I'm totally current with all requests!

Wow! I haven't posted in here in a long time! Well, I obviously have re-seperated the {MHM} forum from the {CG} forum again. I hate all of those topics markes as deleted from back when I nuked 25 members in one bad accidental keystroke. Well, I basically got them all seperated out again. This is good because I will now how seperate listings again for each of the servers! Peace.

Terraniux has made a new map and I just installed it on the server. It is called:
MH-CrystalMine3
Give it a play or three and let me know what you think! Thanks again Terraniux!

Thank you Hermskii!
When somebody wants to 'test' / play the map, make sure you have at least 2-3 teammates with you, because the map is simply too big for 1 person. It can take up to 2hours approximately.

MH-Chthonion
I have played this map a few times over at Fuzzball's server with Scify, Char, and others recently. Usually it comes to pass that we are playing the map with the FZ weapons enabled. Sometimes that "rainbow bunny duster" rifle is ideal for a long and tough map, such as HM-SkaarjTower F, or even MH-LostInTime if you're in a hurry.
But with MH-Chthonian, waving that magic wand of a rifle at the monster hordes just defeats the whole purpose of the map. And since that gun isn't available at MHM, this map would work excellently there. It's really quite a nicely designed map, is visually attractive in a tomb raider kind of way, and it's interesting to play. It is ideally suited to a team effort, which is the whole idea behind Monster Hunt. While it is in essence a map where you must clear out room after room of whole hordes of monsters, the visual attractiveness and the things you must find/do to proceed keep the map interesting. This map satisfies the need to explore and kill monsters during the journey in a nicely balanced way.
I recommend the installation of this map.
p.s. SkaarjTower F is also recommended for that matter, for all of the above reasons, and perhaps even more so.
p.p.s. I have a copy of SkaarjTower F that Scify kindly sent me, but I do not possess Chthonian at this time.
