DM-Pestilence (Pestilence)
This is a small, complex map, suitable for 1on1, called Pestilence.
This map has a cryptic layout, and it's extended in height, more than in width and breadth.
Pestilence is good with almost any kind of mutator (yes, including Redeemer Arena, as it's not so easy to strike someone in a complex map - if 1on1).
Screenshots are not available yet, but they will be soon.

Sounds like it could easily be a chaos map
See if any of the Chaos decos look good in it, and add a few swords and chainsaws for 1-on-1 gore-fests.

My intentions are to make a standard map, but also compatible with changes such as Chaos mod etc. When the map will be ready, you'll see it by yourself

Well, you could maybe use some of the evil decos in the resources ?
There won't be any issues with versions. GOTY owners just have a basic set of the first 2 files.

Map is almost complete. Before publishing:
1) I'd like to see if you like it (screenshots below);
2) There are few weapons - Shock Rifle, Pulse Gun, Flak Cannon, Rocket Launcher and Sniper Rifle;
3) There are the following pickups: Thigh Pads, Armor, Shield Belt;
4) There are Health Vials and Med Boxes;
5) This map has been tested with D3D10 renderer at maximum quality settings;
6) There is a custom song (my version of Godown, available below).

This is a BETA version of the map: before publishing the latest version, I'd like it to be less buggy as possible. As of now I didn't get any, but if you could test it too that'd be great.

For who previously downloaded the file: You may have noticed a file named "Godown2.it". I posted the wrong file in the archive, and changed it now, so re-download the archive itself to have "Godown2.umx" and to get the map working.

I can finally say I got TDB permanently.
I will start exploiting TDB itself from here, to make changes to DM-Pestilence.
After playing it a while, I noticed there are some zones bots don't like to reach, as there's no appearent reason for them to go there.
So here are the changes to the map I have in mind:
-Moving RocketLauncher from its original place to the center of the bridge located up the ShieldBelt one;
-Removing some "Puling" light effects;
-Moving a bit some Spawn points;
-Removing a little bit of health around;
-Adding some decorations to the map and smoothing some corners;
-Changing song (it seems like "Godown2" doesn't fit as well as I expected - perhaps another custom-made song?).
For now that's all. If you have something more to propose, Just let me know here, or on PM.

Here is a note from me about betas.
I usually won't touch them. I hardly touch a finished map these days but my times are changing and I really need to start updating my map selections on all the servers that I run.
My point though is this: I still stay far away from new maps until the owner says it is done and even then I like to wait another 5 to years to see if he is telling the truth. LOL. My other point is to not be mad at me that I'm not jumping all over these maps. I just do things at a snails pace if even that fast.
My goal here isn't for me or my servers anyways. It is for other server admins everywhere to have a place to come and see and get cool stuff if all other options ever fail. Peace!

Ladies and gentlemen,
I present you the second (and perhaps the closest to the final) Pestilence Map.
As I want it to be as bugless as possible, I named it DM-PestilenceBETA-v2 so that I can fix it once again, if something goes wrong.
Here are some screenshots of the central room, which has gone through tons of changes:
Here are the main changes since last version:
-Moved Rocket Launcher in the upper bridge next to the Shield Belt;
-Moved 3 Player Starts;
-Reduced some light "Pulsing" effect and compensated the remaining one with the addition of some more windows;
-Removed a little bit of health;
-Extended the corridors;
-Turned the Flak Cannon room into a lava river and added a stone bridge (Flak Cannon is very close to it);
-Added GES BioRifle, Ripper, Minigun and 4 ammo each weapon;
-Added an UDamage (located where was the Rocket Launcher in older version);
-Enhanced lava risk by extending the central room (Look out, falling is very easy, but it's almost impossible to get back up);
-Smoothed most of the corridor corners;
-Added some brick details;
-Added a brick near the armor spot so that you can reach it also without JumpBoots;
-Replaced "Godown2" with "DigSh" (cinematic part).
