So much, but let me simplify.
One of the biggest complaints of the DCU movies has been they were too dark and grim. This one does start off similar, but it has more humor mixed in and ultimately has an optimistic twist.
I highly recommend it.

Re: Another IMPORTANT QUESTION for the EG.
In comics nobody stays dead forever.
In the comics Superman got killed by Doomsday, but a special chamber in the Fortress of Solitude healed him... though it took like a whole year.
Movie version used a piece of alien technology to bring Superman back... although he wasn't quite himself at first and attacked the Justice League. That was a beautiful fight!

I see E.G. certainly knows what he's talking about - so true!

That's exactly why I asked.
Another question EG.
I believe Superman is the most powerful of all heroes on earth, if he isn't who would best him?

Re: Another IMPORTANT QUESTION for the EG.
He is and he isn't, and in some cases that because the person stronger than him is him.
DC Comics does a lot more parallel Earth stuff than nearly any other Comic series, possible exception being Wildstorm Comics, and time travel as well.
Most often when Superman has crossed paths with a future version of himself he finds the future Superman, having been on Earth longer and having progressively absorbed more solar radiation over time, is much more powerful than he is.
Although, that being said, Captain Marvel is more powerful than Superman. Technically they're close to the same strength but CM's powers are magic based and Superman is vulnerable to magic.

Re: Another IMPORTANT QUESTION for the EG.
Superman did not die against doomsday. he was just beaten so badly it seemed to all that he was dead but there was still some spark way deep inside him that was constantly though slowly regenerating him. He was never "Dead"
~Peace~

And wrong... depending on source.Hook wrote:Excellent! In the comics he was 100% dead, and dead for well over a year. He'd started to decompose, before the Eradicator (one of the new Supermen) stole his body and set about restoring him. We even saw his soul on its way to Heaven.
In the movie... hard to say. Even after he was buried, we saw at the end of Batman v Superman, there was still some activity going on there.
