OK, Mahatma suggested 20 as the magic Mapvote repeat limit for maps. I have set it for that but it won't take till I reboot the server.

Herm, I wasn't trying to be difficult or cause a fuss. CG is not my site to control or dictate so what you feel is right is the way it will be. And I'm wasn't just looking out for myself but for everyone in general. Like I said before WE ALL have our favorites and if one of us shows up and our favorite map has just been played 2 games ago, it kind of sucks to wait around in hopes of getting to play it. That is really my main issue/problem with mapvote.
And sitting through 3 or 4 small repetitve/similar maps, in hopes of getting to one I like, is tough to do also...(don't hate me) but I'll leave most of the time.
Not sure why there is a mapvote limitation but if you set mapvote to zero I wouldn't complain either....lol
Just a thought.....

Hey, first let me ask if you always spell your name in all caps? I ask because I try to type it in as the player has it. On that same note, I try to do pretty much everything that I think is best for me first, the server second and the players last but they are still in the top 3! Yeah yeah about it being my server but see what it is called. It is a server as I am too in a way. I try to make the most people happy while making sure I give myself a huge piece of happiness first!

I never felt you were being troublesome or anything like that and many of the more regular regs and ones that have been here longer than you have taken a real liking to you as I have too.

So you just keep on giving us your opinion because I didn't go through all of this crap of setting up the server and then setting up a web page and then setting up this forum so that I could just sit around here and ignore people. I am a natural "server" by my good human nature and I really enjoy this. Thanks for coming as often as you8 do. Have a good one!

And I'm glad you have your priorities in order....I come in 3rd with my wife too....lol And thanks for running the site....I'd have no idea how to do it.
