I'm not sure if it was fixed or not. I pulled the downloads from your links and basically pooled everything, replacing the duplicate files.
For instance the is an Acient.utx in the cd2 textures which is replaced by the redone ones, so I simply deleted the first and added the second into folder one, bypassing a step and a download.
And stop being polite. Own this. You worked on it even after everyone else quit. Now it works great so you should bask in the fruits of your labor.

7zip
So what do Ineed to start using 7zip compression? WinZIP can open it and WinRAR can't? I'm shocked again. That is twice this night that I have been shocked not including every post from a certain new member that can't possibly be passing her english and or typing class. Hehehe.
~Peace~

Yeah, winrar can but the free version of winrar is size limited, where winzip is time limited.
You can download 7zip here:
http://www.7-zip.org/
It's free, open source and I am simply amazed at the amount of compression I got. My beginning file was 1.67GB and it got compressed to 634 MB? Insane! I'll make a donation tomorrow. Work like that needs supported.

Zip
Hey, download this tiny little zip and run it. Tell me what you think. It is tiny but will run for a very long time. I don't know this site so make sure you check it for virus and stuff but I bet it is OK.
This won a contest years ago to see who could get the most crap in the smallest space using compression. This thing called "The Product" won. I will send it to you Scotty. Don't even try this download.

I have a couple of utilities that supercompress by way of the command prompt. I've succesfully compressed a 4.5GB game to 600MB with it, but it took all night to compress and decompress took a couple of hours.
Honestly I'm thinking this texture thing could be frikkin huge once it gets out. I don't mind catering the download but at a GB+ a person, drive-by downloads are going to get my webserver to flag me. I think I might set it up to download for a few days then run a torrent for them, but still selectively let people download when they let me know.
BTW, are you all interested in a monster radar?:

and a closeup of the radar:

It's kinda small, but it's not in the way at this size. Larger made it too "in front". I'm going to move it to the right middle too, this is just a test run to get the code correct.

Yeah radar is not a "for everyone". That's why this one has client side off/on
It started as a messing around project, but it's become quite fun to make work. I'm going to release it as a server mod, but there will be configuration involved for the client: zoom in/out, radar on/off, placement on hud, maybe even background swapping.
OK back to topic (and I apologize for that detour) The texture package is almost done. I need to get one more file from Herm and it will be ready to grab and enjoy.
