Look in your /system folder for a file called unrealtournament.log and send it to me. I need to see it right after you crash before you try to restart the game again.

the right file you must be looking for is named UnrealTournament.LOG
the one you've posted is named UnrealTournamet.INI

I'll bet a dollar it's because file extensions are hidden on his box. I hate that about windows. Without extensions there are probably 3 or 4 unrealtournament files.

Email it to me Hell. Don't publicly post stuff. It's almost always a bad idea.

Not to mention hidden folders and those ultra hidden system folders like NetworkService (the latter are usually a comfortable place for malwares and spywares) :evil:
Impact

Users can be tricked into opening a file that appears to be something it is not. A file that appears to be innocent based on it's viewable file name may contain malicious executable code.

Solutions

In an environment where file types are mapped to functionality by the extension used in the file name, it is important for the user to know the complete and unobfuscated file name in the course of making informed decisions impacting security.

The CERT/CC encourages sites to evaluate the following suggested steps against security and usability policies at your site. To configure Windows operating systems to display entire and complete file names for all files to the user:

* Configure Windows to show all files and extensions

Windows 9x and Windows NT 4.0:
o Open the Windows Start menu
o Select "Settings -> Control Panel" to open the control panel
o From the "View" menu, select "Options..."
o Click on the "View" tab
o Insure "Hide files of these types" and "Hide file extensions for known file types" are both unchecked
o Insure "Show all files" is selected
o Click "OK" to complete the changes

Windows 2000:
o Open the Windows Start menu
o Select "Settings -> Control Panel" to open the control panel
o From the "Tools" menu, select "Folder options"
o Click on the "View" tab
o Under "Hidden files and folders", insure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected
o Insure "Hide file extensions for known file types" is unchecked
o Insure "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. Note, Windows 2000 will display a dialog asking for confirmation. Be sure to read and understand the information contained in the dialog and then click on "Yes".
o Click "OK" to complete the changes

* Remove all occurrences of the value "NeverShowExt" from the registry

o Open the Windows Start menu
o Select "Run" and enter "regedit" to open the registry editor
o From the "Edit" menu, select "Find"
o Uncheck the "Keys" and "Data" entries under "Look at", and insure the "Values" entry is checked
o Enter "NeverShowExt" in the "Find What" box and click "Find Next"
o When a value is found, right click on the value name and select "Delete"
o Press F3 to find the next occurrence of "NeverShowExt".
o Repeat the previous two steps until all occurrences of "NeverShowExt" have been deleted from the registry
o The computer will need to be rebooted for changes to take effect

Good news I got it.

Bad news, it tells me nothing. I'm going to have to go with bad map. Your install seems solid.

That's strange...
It never crashed before and now the last month it crashes.. Wtf?
And Btw I tried the map at {MHM} & PlanetMonsterHunt so it has nothing to do with your server/map Hermskii :mrgreen:

Well, that removes map from the equation. (You cleared your cache too of everything?)

Hardware maybe? Man, I just don't know. There is some texture in there making your game vomit it up. Funny it dies without an error though.

I reinstalled I said before so the cache automatically cleaning up itself so that's not the problem.
Maybe I'll ever figure it out.. till than I need to do it without Andromeda :cry:

Either get rid of the S3TC textures or switch back to D3D9 renderer. It might fix the problem.

I thought we had already determined t wasn't the S3TC textures. Does that same map crash while playing it using the standard D3D as your renderer?

I will give you guys an update.

I reinstalled (again) yesterday with the illegal CD of UT instead of the Original.
And guess what, Andromeda is working well now.
Now I prepare for the moment of truth..
I'll give you a second update if I installed the S3TC Textures.

UPDATE:
I installed S3TC and MH-AndromedaAncient isn't working anymore...
I replaced the S3TC Textures back to the standard Texture's (Back-Up) and it is working again.
SO BAD NEWS!! The S3TC Texture's are causing the error for MH-AndromedaAncient.
Now we now the issue..
But Im a little disappointed because I can't use the S3TC Texture's anymore now.
I also had an issue with S3TC in a CTF server where I usually can play.
So I changed everything back to normal and the CTF server is also working.

Nope. I'm calling you out Hellfire. Ready. I'm suggesting that this isn't a clean install or you aren't following the directions properly. I have tested this up and down without failures. The only way I can imagaine this not working is with a lesser onboard video card or an even worse independant video card. Something isn't cool here I tell you. Did you change the UseS3TC setting in the special OpenGL renderer after you installed the renderer? Did you use the renderer I suggested? Where did you get the S3TC textures from?

Please GOD! Don't let it be the S3TC textures.
