Abbreviations......

Abbreviation
definition: basiclly a word/words made shorten.
example would be - good game shortened to "gg".
Something we don't say enough of.....gg.
For some reason we're always in a hurry to choose the next game without showing respect to the winner or excitement/appreciation for a game well played. I can see this from a newbie or two.......but a few of the regulars have been guilty of late.
I just don't see the reason why?

Though you will not get this kind of attitude from me, I would have to guess here that maybe the game was not good to the other players. Did you win by a large margin? If it is one sided, then maybe that is causing the issue.

OR perhaps the people in question KNOW that you do not like it when everyone does not say "gg". Maybe they are just trying to get under your skin.
You tend to be vocal about what you believe is right on the servers. Perhaps this is the cause of someone not saying "gg" to you. I don't know, as I was not there.
Any other thoughts?

Just looking for a little friendly gesture or token that's all. This is how wars are started you know...lol
The truth is when I play "incognito" they do stay and sometimes say "gg". So that tells me my fan club is stronger than ever...lol
I never get mad I just consider the source and I laugh a lot.

I always GG at the end. I do notice when others don't but it doesn't bother me unless they are regs and don't when they normally would.

I never expect anything from the noobs and other fly by night players and I'm never let down. I wish I'd get called a cheater a little more often but that won't happen because I never blow out a game against others usually. I lose on purpose lots of the time to keep the others interested or I'll go ahead and win by just 1 a few times to keep them trying. Don't blow out noobs just because you can. Gotta go. Later!

Its only a GG.... if I win!!! Seriously it irritates me if someone types 'gg' when its a blow-out. GG means it was a good game blow outs are not good games

Any map I always a GG for someone (the winner for an example !...)

ahh...the pain of it all. Okay Herm I did what you suggested.
I let someone else win on PURPOSE!! I could of
clearly blown this guy out of the water but instead I let him win by 1 point.
I had to fight the urge and it was killing me !!!
Then I gave up the "gg" gesture in hopes of a similar reply.
All in hopes of making him a friend and an ally within our Redeemer community.
But instead the guy throws down a "LOL" and then leaves. What the F....?
Well....at least it was something...lol
And a lot better then some of the regulars would ever give up.

Well I hope they all come back Herm. I'm getting tired of
watching all these bad sprayers on the smaller maps at other servers.
And then when I beat them, they all run to be the first to vote for the next map...lol

And you can always spot the bad sprayers...they always have more deaths than frags.
But at the same time it would be pretty cool if the ratio between frags and deaths were in the equation.
Maybe you'd get a true winner that way?....although it would probably cut down on spraying and we'd lose a few players.
Or maybe it would be cool to have a limited amount of redeemers before you had to found a spot to reload?
Anyway, just a thought or two on how we can upgrade this game.

Actually, there is a mod for 2004 that subtracts player deaths from player frags and calculates the final score. It probably exist out there somewhere.

My very first attempt at a Deemer Server only allowed players to use 3 deemers and then they were out. Other server admins for Deemer servers have limited their count to 25 and I have run out before. It is funny racing to get the Deemer reload before the other guy gets it. MEAT, you can limit the amount of shots you give out. I just can't remember how.
