One time I logged in and played on CG. I also logged in as Admin and proceeded to select the GOD feature which made me unable to die. I played a small map. There was a well known player by the name of Death Inc. (A.K.A. D.I.) playing at the time. He beat me! He was not cheating. He actually killed more people faster than I could even though I never died. True story. That is all.

You know, I played on SRA and later on CG years ago, but it was just an occasional thing - sort of a curiosity.
Somewhere back then I met Hermskii
I was realy into regular UT mainly back then but, like a car accident, I just had to keep coming back for more punishment and take more looks at it.
It is just in the past year or so that I have been playing more Redeemer than regular UT.
I dunno, I find some sort of beauty and mistique about redeemer - especially in SOME of the maps.

It is for sure a different sort of skill that is needed for redeemer.

I really bad at regular UT . I use to play with God level player all time U know who last all time. I think they take easy on me . One game they totally forget me I was playing game. I made mistake I won game . They didn't easy on me no more. Three thing they didn't like me to use Razor thing, sniper rifle and doubled pistols.One map I got up place they could't reach

.They try use boots and translocto. They coudn't make it .They whole better use those those thing than me.They taught to listen to sounds. To know each different sound are.
I play on CG spawn in strange place I didn't know. Herm should remember this Herm put map on called Fright Night. I pick jumps by mistaken. I looking around I jump next I know I was on Tallest Bluiding I think this before we had tranloctor. I Ask How you down from here.
Nobody know how get down . They couldn't see me. Sky was dark. No one see me on top of roof. Next day everyone try that spot. We have fun do it. It was killer coming down

There is glitch in map. U pick up jump boot. U have to hit right spot .That glitch make very far jump.Get down even with boot u die

There is better yet. I think I play three month on CG in 2002. If there was lot reg on there we look place to hide.Herm place hide he was show everyone.Iceman ask where was it.Herm Said Find Scify and He show the way. I Said I am not He and I am She. I remember the night you found that glitch Scify.
You showed it to me, and it was funny as hell to watch you go sailing waaaayyy up into the sky and land on the roof of the building.

Later we used to go up there and guide our rockets back down. It drove everyone else crazy because they couldn't find us for the longest time.

Something has changed in the map. I've tried many times to get up there, but it never works anymore. The highest you can get now is that water tank against the wall.

I actually don't recall that map but in another map I do recall you could jump at the top of a purple boost beam and it would send you into space and there was a secret roon up there. If you fell though you died for sure. The map is DM-O something or DM-P something. I know it when I see it. It has beautiful lava underneath too. It is is still on the server to this day.

I could be wrong I found that glitch I try on play own computer and didn't work. I think I land on water tower too. It work better on line.
The Ones who play longer than me. Better story to tell.........

I think I also finally remembered my very first Redeemer Server's name. It was "Newbies Heaven" or something very very close to that. Ahhhhhh......memories!

You know the guy, he wold complain about "sprayers" and small maps and to many bots.
I think he eventually started his own server and now lives in a trailer down by the river.
