Hello Dr.Pikko,

Welcome here! Always good to meet a UT player from the very beginning. These servers have been going for a long time. I can't even recall how long now. I think it was before 2010. Initially they were all Redeemer Only Mod servers but now there are some other things going on like Chaos, UT4EVER and Monster Hunt. They are all fun.

We never really did the clan thing here. Some folks tried but it didn't last long. So many players have come and gone but we have a solid 10 or so that constantly come through here and catch up or play or both. Hope to keep seeing you around especially here. Welcome!

Yes! Mappers are my favorite. I tried to learn and couldn't and thus I have the greatest respect for them. Many a ultra mappers have passed through the Halls of the House of Hermskii! Welcome.

In the old days Herm and I used to love checking out new maps to see if they would work on Hermskii's redeemer arena server called "Curious George". This was well before 2005, the year Herm started this new forum. We used to the old Nali Village ? or similarly named map archive web site that had a rating service for submitted maps at one time. Anything rated 7 or above we would download to check out. Hours of fun it was.

Herm, did you go to Dr. Pikko's archive? There's 20 maps in there.

Hey EG, were any of those screen shots taken from any of Dr. Pikko's maps? Those are some nice looking maps!
I also enjoy those custom taunts your bots trade with each other.

All of them.

I mean, he has more maps obviously... but all those are from his.

He did a lotta beta testing of each map on another forum and I was fortunate to be one of his regular testers.

I also enjoy those custom taunts your bots trade with each other.

Reminds me of deck 16 with an after 5:00 PM on Friday theme. Relaxing to look at yet DEADLY!

I have not added or changed maps on any of these HOH servers in years. I stopped because every single map always had a issue and then I had to reload an new one later and file mismatches happened and all sorts of stupid stuff. I am game to try, it has been over a decade but I'm real old and tired.

I forgot all about Nameless and I testing maps all of the time. My suggestion to EG was a real site where people posted their work and it got voted on and fully documented with suggestions and historical data and everything.. It would be great for mappers past and present and future. EG said there is already a place doing this. Hopefully he will speak up about that site and all mappers start going there for now on. UT needs to stop fragmenting and start keeping as much as possible in or three areas for all to have access to.

I should find the actual suggestion and post it. It was genius I thought.

Looks like you like big, open maps with ramps which is exactly what I prefer. I like to be able to see far away and yet be able to hide too. DM-Maps are the best!

I mostly make DM-Maps, medium-sized with a few exceptions. Lately I have been asked about, among other things, making CTF-Maps, - and CTF-Hammer is my second and last creation of CTF Maps.
EDIT:
CTF Hammer[X] is set to be released next week and DM-Sheba[X] to follow soon after.
