Well, they are Very Large in file size, have a lot of "gadgets" (baggage) to go with them, some look pretty darn good, but for the most part play laggy.

We actually had all of these on our
New CROSSBONES "Multi-Game Type" server but they proved pretty troublesome and bulky for online play. (Heck - even for offline on some of them)
We had to remove most of them.
We still have a few of these maps, the smaller ones, on this New server... (well, I may as well announce it somewhat)...

The most extreme beach/tropical map ever made for UT99, no joke. It lags only a bit in some areas, but it's cool enough to forget those little laggy moments.

Actually? - Most people can hardly even run this map!
You gotta have a pretty High End machine to even run it from the posts coming in from players who have tried to run it or have run it.
Very laggy - and the authors recommend that it shouldn't even be on a server.
