Hay Hermskii/fellow Houstonian - hope you came out ok....we're just north of Rayford-Sawdust off 45, and got the top half of a 50ft. pine through our roof, but not all the way thru the ceiling...another 70 ft. pine across the street fell 5 feet short of hittin us.....power out for 11 days....other than that, not bad, I know a lot more got it worse.

I used to live in TimberLakes TimberRidge neighborhood at the end of Raford.
Wow you live right by my old house.

How was the flooding this year?
Back in 94 we got it above the tops of the first story windows.
Ruined everything in the house.

Rayford

The only subdivision I see at end of Rayford, is Fox Run...unless you mean on other side of Riley-Fuzzel...I live near the RR tracks that cross Rayford, but about 7 mins. north, almost to Woodllands Pkwy/Robinson Rd.....the stret that follows the tracks comes out at Rayford where Walgreens is - Richards St. - it wasn't there in '94.....They continued Hanna St. along tracks to Rayford around '97, and called that half Richards St....doesn't flood here, just lots of big tall trees.

We also didnt have water because we get ours from an electric pump in this mobile home community...our gas stove helped out a lot. The gas/phone held up the whole time...now Charter Cable still isnt on due to a line down on our street - supposed to come out today.
