I just wanted to say thank you to Hermskii for having the forum and having it easy for anyone to sign up and register.

There is quite a bit of humor that could be located within these "walls" with different personalities posting various items. Sometimes there some serious posts, but most that I have came across is light hearted. I enjoy reading what some people post and my wife, who does not play any game on the internet except Sudoku, crossword puzzle or some other version of a word game, has gotten several laughs.

What is up with Chuck, Herm?

I'm glad you like the place David and you are reading into it here as I always hope people would. This is a light-hearted place for easy going folks to hang out and enjoy each other. The trick here is to try to never let it get to serious while coaxing people to share just enough about themselves or their beliefs to trigger reaction from others while NEVER offending each other. Say hello to your wife for me and let her know how much we enjoy having you here and here as additional audience to our antics.

I'm actually not a huge Chuck Norris fan at all but I delight in the books and such that have been released about how great Chuck Norris is. Some of the statements made there really tickle me. I tend to get hooked on things here and there every once in a while. This UT thing has hooked me the longest by far. Eating Chex Mix all the time for months at a time and then switching to Skittles or only drinking Jack and Coke for years before switching to nothing but Budweiser are examples of these little streaks I get myself into. For a short time last year there was not a single comment that could be made to me without me shooting back a Chuck Norris-ism right back instantly.

I enjoy bringing joy to others. So I lead by example. I have turned many people who never knew much of or thought much of Chuck Norris into Chucksters like myself. I've turned lots of people on to UT. I've helped many people learn to enjoy Jack&Coke and Budweiser as much as I do. I get on these streaks then manipulate people around me to get on them and surpass my interest in them and then I move on to other things. This UT gig has kept me hooked the longest by far and last year I almost started to move on and leave it all to K but then something happened and I got all into it again. I had always hoped to be one of the last UT people with a server and a UT site around. I expect I will be in the last 5 for sure now.

I'm beginning to get back into the Information Technology field now and I will learn tons over the next few years. I will bring much of what I learn here to you folks. This site will be moved and then grown and finally improved routinely over the years. I hope you'll be able to hang out with us the whole time and I hope you get all the laughs I do when I read stuff here. I'm addicted to this forum badly and check it about 3 times a day at a minimum. Sometimes I stress when it gets too busy because I struggle to have time to read everything and respond everywhere such as in this post but I greatly appreciate your appreciation and these are the threads I like to take time and respond to most. Now it will be 2 more weeks before I type this much again. Thanks for the compliments and your interest in the server(s) and this forum and people here on it. By the way, me nuking those last 25 users is by far the largest mistake I ever made here and it still kills me that I was unable to reverse it. I especially feel bad for losing all of the stuff that Pots posted here and gopostal's stuff too. I know there are many others that had plenty of good stuff here too and I hate that these people's stuff got nuked too but Pots and gopostal put much time, thought and effort into most of their posts and that is the stuff I feel that I appreciate the most after a good laugh. CYA!

That's why we enjoy staying here, you're not the typical bad-tempered/cranky admin
Being an admin is a hard job, and I'm not joking this time; think of all those spambots, lamers, missing/mismatched packages, hardware issues, idiot providers with bad customer care, etc. Mix all these stuff with real life problems (family, hurricane, job, etc.) and you got it!

Ahh...those were the days. I was just a newbie back then causing trouble.
And I was also a favorite target for many. Fun times...
Then again, didn't I cause some havoc not so long ago?

And I know for a fact you dressed up as Chuck for Halloween.

You made me a fan....I did the Bud thing for a while, Vodka was big a couple years ago...now tequila is the drink of choice.
