I am formally requesting a spoiler button in the post creation section.

There is probably a BB patch that will do this.

It would be cool to have. I needed it today and we didn't have one.

It like link but it hide secret or spoiler to map or something like that

It is a BBcode button similar to say a "B" for bolding button in the posting editor.
Select some text - hit the "spoiler" button - then hit "submit" to post it.
You will see a button that says "click to view content" or something to that effect.
When a person is reading the post they won't see the text that was in the "spoiler" code until they click on the button.
We have it over at Hook's UT Place.
It MAY work here also, even without the button, as the buttons are just quick ways of applying BBcode to text in a post - the commands should work for any phpBB forum I would think.
I'll re-post here and try it - I gotta go look at my forums to see the exact syntax used for the spoiler BBcode.

We have it at BUF Herm. try it out.
It makes a black box over the spoiler text. When you mouse over it the text turns white and is visible.

And similar as the quote box says quote from:
This spoiler box says SPOILER WARNING

How is BUF (Beyond Unreal?) going these days?
Have they got rid of some of the airheads that used to be over there?

I haven't been back there in ages as they really got lame about a year ago!

I gotta check it out again sometime.

Your right about that. Actually it was two yrs ago when it got lame.
But "Air heads" come and go . It is expected.

I haven't had any angst there lately.

That didn't exactly work right hook.
When you click on it you get a 404 error.

To save you all some time here, I can safely say I won't add the spoiler because I have already forgotten how to do everything I've ever done with making this forum. I'm sure not going to try to modify it and mess it up just to have a spoiler. I'd never be able to rebuild it either. I don't even remember how to back it up properly so when it goes it will likely be gone. CYA! Sorry.
