Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Mexico were all while I was a civilian.

I'm forgetting several countries for sure but the one thing I can tell you for sure is that the good old USA is by far the very best of all of them.

I still want to go to Japan, Australia, Philippines, Sweden, Canada, and China. I'm sure there are a few I'm forgetting here too.

I was stationed in Germany (Spangdahlem) and lived in Bitburg. I still occasionally order a case of Bitburg beer from the importer to relive it.

Saw most of western Europe from there. USO tours, off-duty weekend mac flights wherever they were heading (my roommate was a loadmaster for cargo jets), even renting a car sometimes. It was the best time I had as a single guy. Note: if you see a "live sex show" in Amsterdam, you are going to see EXACTLY that. It was one of the most surreal things I've ever seen.

Also was a ground force in the first Desert Storm. Passed through Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with a mild detour into sovereign Iraq.

What have I learned? I'm glad to be...no make that BLESSED to be an American.
