I know that there has been and always will be speculation behind the 9/11 event. This is not a post about that.
This is to remember about what was seen and felt that day.
I worked night shift the night prior (09/10/11). I was asleep in my bed when my wife came awoke me. She then told me to turn on the TV. She stated that she at first did not know if it was real. When I turned on the TV, I then saw the 2nd plane crash into the World Trade Center. I was in disbelief.
It later sickened me to see the irreverence of people when they posted videos and pictures of victims fallen and jumping to their death from the World Trade Center.
Nearly 3,000 people died that day. It is engraved in my mind where I was and what I was doing when it happened.
I bow my head to all those people who died. I salute the Fire, EMS, Police to enter into a situation that was a loosing battle, but they knew it was their duty to do it anyways. I mourn for the loss family members and the loss of many innocent lives.
No matter where you stand on the event, a moment of silence is warranted.
I will remember.

A special blessing to all who lost anyone and anything that day. I was in a tall building that day and I caught myself looking out the windows plenty. I had never wanted to go home and watch the news so badly ever.
~Peace~
