I can see this technology being adapted for use by the armed forces for safety and efficiency reasons. Pilots are so busy now that anything that helps them fly their machines while they concentrate on their tasks is an amazing improvement. Air shows featuring precision formation flying stunts would be a lot safer too.

It also occurred to me that smaller versions of these little helicopters may have to be built and adapted to pollinate our crops should the honey bees all die off from those diseases that are plaguing them nowadays.
