Thanks Herm but it's mostly a copy-and-paste work, original authors must be praised. I still have that loss of color issue (it's because of MS-Paint weird management of 8 bit Bitmaps once edited)

The male skin was a creation of gopostal, I might re-import skins in black and white format to give a sort of "smokey" effect but it's virtually impossible to reproduce the same sprayed/airbrushed blood effect with MS-Paint.

Not to forget that the female commando has an annoying bag on the back that makes impossible to write the whole "MHM (U) TEAM" logo without being distorted.

First off team skins with names look cool...if in fact you play as a team and I know you guys will--dumb comment.
But the team skins you guys are talking about...are they only going to be used or worn when playing MHM?
It's not something you'll use on other servers, for example my server or CG?
If that is the case why not choose something a little more colorful or fun.

Skin with names hmm, in this way every member either must choose it's own skin or must share only two or three skins with about 20 other members.

Are you looking for something more colorful? Well there's my lava/water skin I think it's enough colorful...

that this skin is good, but it would be better to have a grey skin with blood splats and names of the players and eventually colorful?!?

Hi Pots. Yes, it seems sometimes that when you give people something they tend to ask for more. This is true in the Admin world of UT as well. I found a long time ago that I could not please all of the people all of the time. In fact, it was about half of the people half of the time. That's an approval rating of 25% by my math.

So I said screw it and did stuff the way I wanted to and helped peeps if I wanted to and no other time usually. I don't ask for much and don't offer much either. I figure it is fair and it keeps me happy! Hang in there.

That being what it is i think i will try my hand at making some.

I think you guys are getting to complicated with this anyway.
We don't really need player names or even TEAM written across anything.

My thinking is this:
All we need is two skins.
Male and female that look relatively the same with the MHM written on the back.

I like the whole idea of them being drenched in blood cause they surly are getting covered with the fighting we do.
But that's just me .
Herm is right about trying to please everyone.

I think everyone should try making some skins that htey think are cool.
Then we can form a consensus on what we can all agree on. Not to mention everyone learns how to skin! 4TW+1

I only made skins once before and it was a while ago , but i figured it out and it was quite easy to do. Hopefully i can remember how to do it.
I remember it was really fun.

We have now a Male {MHM}Team skin now we need to vote what is the best Female {MHM}Team skin.
After we've voted we have 2 skins Female & Male than we are finished, done, capish...
Btw, Don't misunderstand me K but I don't get what you mean with:

U mean that the Font needs to be the same or the skin?

I don't know how you are jumping so much of the gun here.
We don't need to join PMH for any reason.
We don't need extra skins. LOL

Let me tell the facts of the whole TMH issue so everyone is on the same page.

THE FACTS:
Right now there is only 2 or three TMH maps!
Planet MH has one TMH map on their server!
There are no clans . none. Nobody has a clan yet.
And Planet Monster Hunt is holding a mapping competition.

The mapping competition is just an attempt to get everyone hyped about TEAM MH. This will hopefully get people to build more maps CAUSE RIGHT NOW WE ONLY HAVE 3.

We cant really compete if :
a. there are no maps
b. there are no other clans to play against.



Ok ,
What we should do:
a. We should try to come up with some members that would like to play together. We should maybe practice together?
b. We could start encourage mappers to build some more maps , and/or build some ourselves. "then we have somewhere to play" very important!
c. We don't have to but we could try to make team skin to use.

All talk between us about our clan should definitely be done here on our forum.
Right now we don't have an opponent to play. But we also don't have our own clan.

I think the first step of all would find out witch ones of us are going to be there when there is a competition. Who can play at the same time together? We need to research time zones and availability of players.
We need to show up and play together once a week regularly. The team needs stability if we are going to even attempt this as a competition.


Is there still a thread about where you live? I remember a map you could put yourself on ?

No problem, I just agree with Hermskii when he says it's complicated to please everybody. That's all. BTW I think my last skin is a good starting point and it helped me improving Paint usage.

I won't be joining this team and am interested to see what happens with all of this. I suspect there will be about 10 new maps made and then it will hit a rock wall and stop totally. At least K has it on her server so people can play there in addition to at the PMH server.

We really don't need the mod on a server right now.
Until there are more maps to learn we should just practice working as a team on regular maps.
