For some reason we're always in a hurry to choose the next game without showing respect to the winner or excitement/appreciation for a game well played. I can see this from a newbie or two.......but a few of the regulars have been guilty of late.

The truth is when I play "incognito" they do stay and sometimes say "gg". So that tells me my fan club is stronger than ever...lol

Sup Yall,

gg is just common courtesy. Do it by habit even if you get your ass handed to you. That is how I have gotten to "meet" many a good player and have learned from them. Try to have a little "talk" in between games if you can. Where ya from? What do you do? How old?

Keeps the community on the happier side. It is a game after all.

That is why I incresed the map vote time from the default 10 seconds to 70 so everyone would easily have about a full minute to chat it up between games. I'm smart like that. I think I adjusted your map vote to do the same MEAT.

Hey guys,

I prefer the chatting at the end. During the game not so much. I normally do the GG, and if I have a problem with someone, I tell them.

But it is nice to know where people are from.

You know I've been thinking..."gg" (good game) is something I've not said in forever.
Sure, I throw out the "Fun Stuff" all the time but hardly, if ever, "good game".
And the thing about "gg" I think... it should be the ones that lose that say it first.
I hate when I come late to a game and some guy wins and he's the first one to say "gg".
To me "gg" is a congratulatory remark...why is he congratulating those that lost?
And why is he in a hurry to throw the first "gg"?
Maybe he played over his head and he knows it...?
Maybe it's just a reflex or a non feeling behavior...?
Maybe I'm the only one that sees this and I should get over it...lol

Someone should have an opinion on this.
Should we say "gg" even if it wasn't a good game?
And what does "gg" mean to you?

I always say GG at the end of a match.
Even when I have a crappy score, which I dont. (Mostly)...

GG, although its actual definition is "good game", i think its connotation is "good fight" or "good battle", it doesnt matter who wins, just that everybody who was there made it a good round. I always throw in a gg no matter which gametype,and no matter who wins (unless theres only bots

) and trust me, i rarely ever win

. I guess the meaning is really relative though to the type of player you are and your sportsmanship. The whole who does it first thing? i think that is just whoever can remember first, and whoever can type the fastest
