I know a couple of the different clan members on a few sniper servers/ The servers I visit are the camping style servers compared to the run an gun sniper servers.

I have played against some people who had greeted me warmly, such as the following people; -=SOP=- Dave, -=SOP=-Pyle, and -=SOP=-Tater. SOP website is http://www.sopsnipers.com/index.php [url]unreal://206.222.18.51:7777[/url]

Some are better than others. On some camping servers, you move around too much, your health will lower. You will regain health as long as you stay still/camping. Some reduce your health too quickly.

One of the server mentioned above have bolt action rifle that is sometimes in play. It is not easy to because it takes longer to load compared to aim and fire not stop with the standard rifle.

Concerning the teamspeak, I downloaded teamspeak 2 from the teamspeak server but I did not find their room/channel. I looked on their forum to look for the teamspeak information and I see that they have teamspeak 3. So I am not sure if it is compatible with teamspeak 2.

There are teams or deathmatch style play. I like the team style more.

Well, I will see if I will get unbanned or not. Either way I still call this forum and the servers related to this forum as home or least a family member's house.

Thanks David. You just need a bigger play room in this house you are a part of and I'm going to try to make that happen! Keep me informed and keep on giving great input like that. I downloaded the team speak 3 and was able to connect to a team speak that was listed on the forum, but of course (during this time of day) no one was there Oh well, I guess we will see what happens.

Talked with -=SOP=-Tater. He and I spoke and he lifted the ban on me. Which was very generous of him. Still unsure what caused the anti-cheat to trip on me..trip hard on me.....I cant be that good . hahahaha Anyways I will see what happens. See if it will trip on my again. I looked in my UT folders and I did not find anything unusual...??????

But Tater was good to speak with though.

I was contacted about the ban. He stated "David:

We have been catching a-lot of people cheating on our server as of late, I told Tater and the others if you send an e-mail inquiring we would lift the bann, but not until. Ace is what we use and it is not 100%, we may have picked up a false positive on you. Thanks for the e-mail. we are open minded clan and enjoy good clean fragging. So if you would like to come back on our server and play come on back, We would like to hear from you on our team speak for further clarification."

It is a nice response from him. But I am still confused about the reason or what caused the anti-cheat to trip on me; and especially with the huge reason of ban.

My second concern, is teamspeak. I have heard of it but never used it. But they are open for me to talk to them about what is going on, which is nice, but I do not have teamspeak nor do I know which teamspeak to use. I see that the original teamspeak is "retired" and there are teamspeak 2 and 3..???

You just have something which ACE perceives as a hack, even though it is not. To prevent it from happening again you have to find out what it is so that the admin can tell ACE to "whitelist" it. Unfortunately the log doesn't help with what it is so you don't know what to report. Before joining again I would put a second clean install of UT on your computer and use that to play on that server. Otherwise you are just going to get your IP banned again as soon as you join.

If you haven't messed with your client installation at all, then your problem might simply be a corrupted file.
I was also kicked by ACE once in the past, and it turned out one of my UT system files had become slightly corrupted (had a pretty old UT installation).

By looking at those logs of yours, there might be something wrong with the Engine.dll file (another system file).

David, you can compare your current Engine.dll with an original one with the same version used by you.

Anyway in a forum posting such a reason seems to be a bit crappy. 0×0000 repeated (I hope some lines weren't removed to be shorter )

If you see differences between 2 assumed identical Engine.dll files, then is logic why you were kicked, but I expected some explanations related to this kick asked by that admin. The post is strange, I don't see to many logic things there.

I logged in and played a round or 3 last night at that sniper server. I was using my S3TC textures and was not kicked. They did make me install the entire ACE package to me PC. I did not like doing that I must admit. I feel like it can and will be held against me at some point. Call me funny but I just don't trust things that can scan my stuff like Ace can do.

I managed to play about 2 games and got a grand total of 3 kills. I hate that right when I finally find one of them they are already aiming at me and they always shoot first. It was fun I guess. I think I just need a little more action is all.

I know the feeling. You are scanning the area trying to find someone and there off in a distance you see them. You try to zoom in to get a better shot and then the second before you shoot.......YOUR DEAD. hahahaha

Teamspeak is nice way to meat new peeps or just talk to ones you are playing against

as far as v-table hook on the admin forums it was listed as one of a few things

1 is an aimbot

2 is a key logger

3 lol was just a false positive

uasualy they check some id code it gives and can tell you witch one it is
