Re: YouTubeFest...
Okay, maybe everyone has forgotten about the thread I posted about this young guitar goddess a couple of years ago. So here she is again, at age 15, playing Jimmie Page's famous hit "Since I've been lovin' you".
Ayla is now 24. She posted this video 9 years ago.
The local BIA hosts an event at a nearby park every year. They put up a temporary grandstand, and invite various artists to come perform. Most of them are Canadians. I rather hope that some day Ayla Tessler-Mabe will be invited to come play, and that she'll accept.

I'm too lazy to look for these every time.

And with this silly one too!a nameless entity wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2016 12:04 amIf I could edit a previous post I would include the following video:a nameless entity wrote: If you don't understand why I love riding my Harley, check out this video posted by a Japanese rider. It's an unrestored 1939 EL big twin he's riding. And if you watch the whole movie you'll either come to understand why I love riding my H.D., or you won't and never will. Find out why don't ya?
What Jay Leno says about his '36 Knucklehead is spot on.
All Harleys from the first '36 OHVs right through to the last of the Evolution engines share a common lineage, with the later motors being improved versions of the earlier ones.
Modern Heritage Softails are deliberately styled to look like the classic Knucks and Pans of past eras, but there's a practical aspect too. The design is compact and highly functional. Truly a timeless classic.
It's a shame Jay didn't get around to having a good look at his treasure sooner.
Here's the Japanese video again, featuring a '39 knuck. I just love the part where he opens his old beauty up, and blasts past all of his riding buddies on their modern Harleys.

I have no idea what this video is taken from, it's not an advert. But the lyrics are right there with translation if you watch it on Youtube, for you to appreciate since La Bardot may indeed have been pretty, and could possibly act, but she sure could not sing!![]()
However I would have added this video to my last post about Harley's if I could. Check out the two late sixties choppers built from old HD 45's.
(EDIT: It's from a TV show she did that was broadcast in France over the Xmas season of 1968. You can still buy CD's and vinyl LP's of the songs from the show. So far I haven't seen any uploads of the whole show as broadcast, but I have seen a Youtube video of backstage highlights from the show: RChLKebL57w )
