Herm you're using the ExcalMH mutator aren't you? Perhaps the AntiBoostV2 could be compatible with the old BiGi's MH (that's a BIG perhaps). Anyhow AFAIK the antiboost is working fine with the MHMIII mutator.

Time out. So it sounds like somebody here is saying that the problem is MHExcal and not the Antiboost. Is that right? I do hear you saying that if I change mods the blades be too dull issue won't happen. Is that right? I thought we had already determined it was the Antiboost mod and nothing else. Explain please.

I did. Go back a few posts and I explained it. I researched this but honestly forgot to post the results. I get too many irons in the fire at once.

This is 7 pages long already. Give me a link to the page with the explanation or quote it please. I can't read when Mr. Budweiser is around.

ScottyD wrote:I can say with total confidence that the antiboost mod is not adjusting the mover in MH-Indy. I ran multiple tests on it and it is not adjusting the damage in it in any way. You can see this for yourself by downloading the antiboost, adding it, and then running into the spinning blades. It makes no difference.

The problem is the mover replace part of the other mod. If you find the logs you'll see that mover gets replaced as part of the ecroaching mover replacement. It's an odd bug with that mod, and as far as I know is not an issue on other maps. Well, with the exception that REALLY long elevators like in WTC are a pain if you get in the way because they shoot back up instead of just smashing you.

I hope this clears that up. I'm not asking you to reinstall "my" mod, but I didn't want you to think it was a mistake I made. If it were, I'd beat it to death until it was fixed. Thats why the antiboost is v2. It wasn't just right so I made it that way.

OK but notice that I removed the antiboost mod and the blades started killing me again. I'll have to retest and make sure but with MHExcal running and no antiboost the blades work. With antiboost on the blades don't kill. It doesn't make sense to me that it is not the antiboost.

You know all in all, it's a minor issue on a single map that really doesn't get much play. At very worst, it's totally my fault on something I messed up and I am missing, but is it worth removing the entire mod for a single mover in question? Lava/ledge boosting when intentional or not is a serious problem in many MH maps and it should be addressed strenuously. Players can affect other players on a whim without it.

How is that there are only two things in the world which stop Hermskii from being around, Hurricanes and Beer.

Is it just me, or should things not be equal? :D

Hey wait a second. If Chico's MH mod is being used instead of BiGi's, then the problem with the door at the beginning of MH-Bluff should not occur.

As for that spot where you die if you step onto that one floor tile, I find it handy to use it to kill the Kralls that infest that area. Just run around the post and stand on the other side of that bad floor tile, and watch the Kralls that are chasing you disappear into the void.
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

Nameless, right now I do not have the antiboost mod on since it appears that when working in tandom with Scotty's AntiBoost mod I can't get killed by the blades on Indiana Jones. Please test your theory on the maps you mentioned to at least make sure that MHExcal is working properly. As far as I know the Breath of God does kill me right now with the MHExcal mod on and the AntiBoost mod off.

Scotty is going to make me a certain version of his mod that will fix all of this I think. A version of it is already being used by the admins at MHMIII I think. My version will be inclusive where as theirs is a 2 part mod as near as I can tell. Let me know eh.

This is the latest release as far as I know, it's just missing the Hall of Fame and there are a few minor flaws, but the map is overall very good IMO.

Herm I've uploaded this map mostly for you, I think it would be great to have the MHMVillage map on your server, specially now that it is no longer available on the {UMH} servers. I'm almost sure I've added all required packages, but you better ask gopo which packages needs to be listed as server packages. Please Herm do not let this map to be forgotten. :(
