Major Forum Member Deleted Error!!!

We are all waiting then. Seems to be still needing the restore.

Since everything we posted after that date will be deleted and so will this post i will just wait till the restore is done to post.

I am back....... Not because of the restore, but I decided I could no longer wait, so I registered again.

At first, before knowing what happened, I was not sure if I said something here on the forum to be kicked out or what, but I read the posts and Herm contacted me after I emailed him, before reading the post.

That stinks. Not really about the posts that may have been lost but the unwanted stress or concern that this event has caused Herm and everyone else. Enjoy!

Yes, the forum will be restored and when it is all of this will disappear. Now they are telling me it should take between 24 and 48 hours to resolve and the clock started around 8:00 pm Friday night. Be assured, I'll never make this mistake again. Everyone will get everything back just as it was up until either the 16th or the 12th. I'm getting lots of conflicting information from my web provider concerning this situation. I much rather get it all back up to a week ago then leave it as is. I'm sure you all agree.

Just one question: is the log-in module case-sensitive? I think it's not, since I can enter regardless of "caps" in my user name.

Damn. I miss this forum.
You might need to give them a little push Herm. they don't seem to be doing anything in a timely fashion.

I guess i should wait longer till i come back again.

As my PC life seems to be in critical condition right now I still see that these people that manage my webspace still haven't done anything. K, I did write them and told them over the phone many awful things. I'm about to call again right now since it has been 48 now and they said they'd have it resolve by then. These people suck and I hate them.

I also opened a crack earlier today and my main PC is now nothing more than a paper weight that if I rebuild AGAIN can once again be a PC. Yes, it has finally happened to me. I got nuked doing something I knew I shouldn't have tried. NUKE I tell ya! Really, I'm about to cry. Everything is just falling apart around me right now. Worry not dear friends. I need no words of comfort. I will as always be ok. A rebuild never hurt anybody. Peace peeps!

LOL at first it was some random person saying DELETED over and over, i ddidnt know he "DELETED" the other peoples posts LOL. But anyway dont rush, We can survive this. PLus we can survive without half the forum, maybe it is about time to restart anyway? I dont know. But still dont get grumpy some/most of my post were "DELETED" and i dont really care

Are you serious?
The forum is not just a ongoing conversation SkaarjTrooper.
It is also a reference point.
All the things we talk about can help others learn UT and Monsterhunt.
All the threads that had posts deleted now make no sense what so ever.
We really need to get this fixed man.

We all need to stop posting till this is fixed.
It wont kill you to do something else for a couple days.

I wasn't going to say it yet again, but because of what just happened, it wouldn't if this got updated with the newer version when I 1st mentioned it.

Herm, a word to the wise... take a big breath, update what needs to be upgraded & then relax. Don't be left behind & be known as the dino of UT forums, cause we all know what even happened to the dinos!

Trust me, I know some hesitate at 1st, but it's not that painful if the steps are followed correctly. Sometimes things like this would be seen as a wake-up call!
