I went off to war with some "happy" people. No problems here. I never cared if you were black or white, male or female. You could either do your job and not get me killed or couldn't do your job in which case you got the hell off my crew cause I wasn't going to get shotdown for someone being stupid. That's how I judge people, your either stupid or you ain't. Keeps life rather simple . . . .
Evil is obvious only in retrospect.

Humans, in general, are competitive.
Survival of the fittest,Circle of life,Losers never prosper, etc. etc.
Even in the 21st century these habits are still with us.
So, it stands to reason that many people don't take losing well, and as gg is an acronym for good game, then people who didn't enjoy themselves because you owned them are unlikely to say they had a good time.
Also, people play computer games to be something they're not, and no-one wants to roleplay as a training dummy.
I don't believe sportsmanship is dead, I just believe it exists only among evenly matched players.

You may be right, but to me it's kind of like saying that prejudice doesn't exist as long as everyone's the same lol.

Sportsmanship in a game played on the internet?
I doubt it but I guess it could exist... :|

Cliche' or not - I always either say GG or something!
And when I say GG - I mean it!
You should not have to change a custom (by calling it cliche') just for the sake of it.
Leave it be - it is like a handshake also.
If it was a Good Game - say GG! (and MEAN it!)

I'm hip...if it's a good game say it.
Other wise say what you want or say nothing.

I've said it nigh a thousand times but it rings true quite often: I've learned way more from people I have disagreed with than people I had the same mind as.

I generally just argue with people I disagree with... :)
