Babelfish sucks. Anybody speak Spanish?

I was trying out the rebooted 2k4 server when it became obvious there was another human player aboard. Someone with a complex Spanish seeming name. He was fast. And good. He switched weapons a lot. He did major damage and perhaps killed me once with the crossbow of all things all the while jumping and hopping about madly. If I hadn't seen other players that good before, I would have suspected an aimbot, he was that good with the stupid thing. Previously I thought only a bot could hit anything with that stupid crossbow, I suck so bad with it.

He never said a thing except once, when he said: "Agarraela hijo de putwis."

Babelfish translates "hijo de" as "son of". It won't translate the other two words. I have a bad feeling about "putwis"

Any idea what he may have been driving at? I don't think I even wounded him at all as I was using the sniper rifle in tandem with the relic of strength a lot, hoping for a quick kill if I could ever just hit him.

Sorry to hear about this Nameless. I have no idea how to answer any of what you just mentioned. How about "Try Harder Next Time"? LOL.

I'll ask you here and now since I'm worried I won't find the original topic where you mentioned the server was down...I used an older than expected start-up batch file from backup. Could you tell? Did you see anything different when you played? It may be the same as the one I just lost but I don't know to be honest. Did the server run pretty good for you or at least did it run like it normally does is what I'm asking.
