I'd be annoyed with CBS for cheating me out of another Star Trek series by not putting it on broadcast TV; but they've already screwed me by moving their transmitter from Grand Island N.Y. to Colden N.Y., some small town 35-50 miles in exactly the wrong direction from me.
I still haven't replaced my antenna tower after it was smashed by that tree fall in 2018. It seems that a lot of networks are rethinking their over the air transmission policies. NBC Buffalo went low power years ago. CBS has moved. I'm not sure what ABC is doing, because my make-shift antenna can't pull them in. All I can get from the U.S. now is Fox, and Fox Buffalo's programming is boringly terrible. There's only one new Canadian over the air channel, and they're usually just out of reach.
It no longer seems worth it to put up a good antenna system. The best TV is all going to be pay-through-the-nose-to-view, it seems.
