Black screean of death( reread this)

I use old computer to type this

problem I use get boot agent enameless for software to fix it.


I get gateway logo then boot agent then window logo then black screen Death. I thought it was dust last time. .When finiale got up run.

I finale get up I thought it fix. I shut it down rehook internet . Restart I get Gateway Logo then mess about boot agent then windows logo then black screendeath.....................................

You really need to find a friend who knows PC stuff. based on what you said so far, I'd guess a bad power supply. There are cheap testers for about $15 that are very reliable. I have thrown away many good mobos due to not knowing I had a bad power supply and my spare/test power supplies were bad too. Still makes me mad thinking about it. Next, I'd guess heat is an issue. Again, get a buddy who knows about PC's and builds them. Later!

PS: I still have 3 Voodoo cards that all work. I have a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP,
VooDoo 3 3500 AGP w/TV, VooDoo 3 3000 AGP. I love my VooDoo cards!

I finally geting screen it hour to get screen.I am old computer it run slow and freeze if don't watch and it hard find web sites for strange reason.

One thing I was getting message was Boot agent PXE 2.1 which nameless found soft ware to fix it.

That is just a utility that lets you start up your PC by calling it on the phoe. It is not your problem.

I don't other company does this but Gateway computer come book show up how to add CD, DVDplayer which come mine with,How to add or change Hard drive ( Which did I BIG HELP TO JARG ),add other chards. replace power supply, change system board, ,install ram and system battery
I been look Intel® Boot Agent is compliant to the PXE 2.1 to fix that message. I down soft wear but have install it yet .

I wish there was a utility can tell you wrong your pc . Person like me can use. At first I thought it was dust IN CP this Last time fan dusty and last time Fan over Intel chip.


I try call my friend to see . He do it I don't know if answer Phone His Job to work on CP. My CP He tune it.He put two thing ram that bring it to 258 or 258 of ram. He put CD Burn in for me. I Did gave He some money. To help out.


In Truth both cp need work I know Old one I like add other hard drive like at least 40 GB no bigger. IT only 550MHz ,15 GB Hard Drive ( !0 GB IS UT)

I have other problem I don't think relate to it either Net.Framework 1.1 KB928366 won't install. For 6 Month now

Can't Update Sound Blaster card I Lose sound then I roll back drivers for it.I have find files for it

personaly i would check the ram to see if it was seated properly it almost sounds like it is getting hot or the two sticks dont like each other you might pull one out and try it see if it boots up in case you have a bad ram stick if its a driver problem you can use the win cd to do a sytem repair not the restore it has a section on it that lets you do a windows repair in case it goes bad hope this helps

I know I have two type ram in this copmuter . Other CP maybe has three different .Guy I use work with talk me into buy CP.I did . He put two stick ram one I bought and other he got from other CP.He Put CD burner in it.He the one basci got me play UT 99.He and His bubby got bore killing each other .These I call Very Very Good Player .I haven't talk to him for years .I lucky haven't blow up both them.I never had any CP classes.I going try other next weekend somebody esle told me. THANK YOU AGAIN
