Oh yeah! Thanks for that advice Supreme One. That gave me back control of gamma with F11. :)

The exact term under OpenGL rendering in the advanced settings is: GammaCorrectScreens.

(New to this? Open the console and type the word: preferences
Down at the bottom you will see Rendering. Expand that and choose OpenGL. Expand OpenGL. Then find GammaCorrectScreens. Click on that line and you will get a choice of True/False. Set it to True.)
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

I wrote this up after testing it tonight. It works! It fixes the skating bot issue where they move without animation after you install the high res textures from CD#2. Here is a link to the files:

EDIT!!! I have updated the link below to show the latest greatest information and instructions towards using the latest and greatest versions of these S3TC textures. What I'm saying here is that you do not need to read beyond this single post unless you try this and it fails in any way. If that happens, please reply to this thread and tell me what went wrong. Otherwise, see the last post I just wrote on 10-04-08. Thanks!

I just noticed that the total number of textures that come on UT CD #2 is 74. I also just counted the amount of textures that you have reworked so far and came up with a total of 30. So what I'm wondering is shouldn't a person who wants to use these textures first install UT CD #1 and then UT CD #2 and then start adding your 30 files over the ones that you have reworked already? Otherwise, I would think that using this product as offered, it would only use 30 S3TC textures instead of the actual 74 that came on the UT CD #2. That would mean that 44 textures that have been reworked already by EPIC would not be used if we just used the ones you offer so far Diehard.

I hope I said that right and I hope even more this wasn't already discussed and I just missed it. Let us know please and also please contact me soon. I have a easy/special request in regards to your downloads. Thanks Diehard.

not

You could not have done every step because your video card is still trying to use the D3D driver and it is supposed to be using the OpenGL driver. Also, this has NOTHING to do with ANY D3D9 driver either. Reinstall UT and try again and like the directions say, on't try any shortcuts or it won't work. Let us know how it goes. CYA!

You will love it and I "HOPE AND PRAY" that you are as critical to me as I am to you. PLEASE list every little think that doesn't work or seem right all the way down from the process to bad links and mis-spelled words and punctuation. I need it to work perfectly for everyone everytime! Thanks! CYA
