New Videocard !!!

I have new Videocard

A Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT

I can play every game that is avaible on the highest quality and 1280x1024.
Need still new monitor than it's finished

Must be nice to have a good video card.

I have never experienced this luxury.
Gopostal said he was going to send me one. I guess that's not happening anymore since he hates me.

lucky b*stard, lol i want a high end card, but i have a laptop so that wont happen

and a new monitor makes all the difference i plugged this laptop into my dads Sony Bravia HD 42" and it looked fckin awesome lol UT in HD is so nice

Yeah , I would be happy with a new monitor to! I have been dreaming about a Big giant flat panel for a long time.

max rez my monitor can do is 800X600 UT
With 84 refresh.

You go Chef! Yeah, that max resolution is not high enough. Maybe you are restricted by the monitor. Otherwise, you should be able to go up to some crazy high number. Make ure you installed the vid card's drivers.

I can even play 1280x1024 on my 10 year old machine!

K, my response was directed at your max res. That is way too low. You have something set wrong.

It is the max my UT can handle without acting funny.
If i put it to resolution higher i get::
UT booted up in a minimized window around 400X And the menu bar is missing.
My monitor is a 17 i think.
I need a new card.

U even can play UT without a videocard.
I think you set something wrong because with a 17 inch you can play 1280x1024 or at least 1024x768.

When was the last fresh install? Have you used my manual to install UT and tweak the graphics? It is pretty good.

I just made a new install and i am limited to 800X600.

I did not use the S3texture tutorial cause this is the install i use ED from.
So i cant use the special textures.
But i did use the tweak your graphics thread at BuF.
I am using the enhanced OGL render.

I find it strange that i cannot get 1024X768 like i used to.
Yet this is a different card then i used to have.
