urchinTracker is not Defined Error

Post by *POTS* » Thu Nov 27, 2008 8:01 pm

This stupid JavaScript error made my browser crash.

I've Firefox v3.0.4 + Adblock Plus v0.7.5.5 installed.

Looks like the source of this JS it's related to Google Analytics website, do I have to remove this filter

Code: Select all

*google-analytics*
in order to prevent this error?

It's the first time it happens to me I've never had problems before.

What you need to get POTS is the NoScript add-on (I got it a month ago) to help prevent sites that might effect you by not allowing it unless you want to. Here is the link to it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

ahhhh, not that add on again.
I used it for a month and deleted it.
It became a real pain in the ass to enable things that it blocked.
every time i wanted to watch a video on a site i had to go through a huge ordeal. It also made me do extra steps to login to most web pages and passwords. It gets rid of to much stuff.

You can change the "stuff" under the OPTIONS settings. It's been updated & one can also allow the page to be temporarily allowed.

I might consider removing all Google-related filters since I can't even use Google Maps...
Google Ads are not a big trouble any way. Thanks for info.
