So which you wanna play?
Which on e do think is best suited for a game of play money (not real) and to be able to have a private table (where only those we want to play can join and play)?
Everyone needs to go in quick.
There is no table that you can create and make it private.
But I think [PokerStars.com] is the most easy game to learn/play..

Hopefully we can get together on Saturday. That would be pretty cool. Any ideas from your Nephew? I have been looking, but one site that I found looked liked an ideal place but they ask too many personal questions when signing up. So I did not.

I found several sites that would allow private tables, so that we can get a table full of HOH people but I noticed all the sites ask too much personal information.

They ask for address, phone, work phone and all that. I do not think so. I just want to have a friendly game of cards with some good people.

If anyone has ideas, please toss them into the thread. On MSN games, you can play and invite friends but the friends would have to be on your MSN Messenger friend list. I don't use instant chat programs.

That site is pretty popular here, we used to play it at school.
But I don't think there is a good poker game.
If you want to play multiplayer there you need to Log-in.
I still think PokerStars is the best game to play on but you also need to register and download the game.

I found this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/openpoker

If there is interest, I'd start a server.

I wonder what it looks like, screen shots wise. Curious...

Here is some recent information on the openpoker version 2. You will most likely understand it, it is server/computer information that I do not know how to digest. Here is the info. http://www.wagerlabs.com/blog/2008/10/t ... lenge.html

Ah scrap this. It's for large scale poker game vendors. I'll keep looking.

OK, found this:
http://www.pokermavens.net/trial/
Click on MHM, it's our table. Password is mayhem

I'm running the testserver but if you guys like it, I'll install the full version. I'll be back in a bit to check on it.

OK it works. You have to give your email address to the server but you can fake one, it doesnt check. I'll raise/change/alter anything you guys want done, just let me know.

We should try to set up a date and time and give this a try. I am guessing the sooner the better, to see if this option works for us. I need to go to work, but I am willing to try after work, but.. I want to see what others have to say.
